I'd like to think of myself as the main designer in the project, but honestly, I can't. Our team of six (and of course Mr. Kennedy) each worked to complete this project and without every one of them, this wouldn't have been possible. The companies that helped us were great as well and on behalf of the students involved, we thank you.

The arm itself is a 3 DOF arm with rotation about the base, shoulder, and elbow. The gripper can open about 4 inches wide, but the closing strength is rather low.

How exciting! You must be very proud. I am amazed at the accuracy of the robot in such delicate work. I was waiting for the arm to just drop the object, but it set it down with such precision! Simply amazing! Well done!
