3:04 I think that the parts of the diagonal bars that are inside the door-like frame are separate from the rest of the set-up, so that they can slide back-and-forth, such that when the curtain is pulled, Hans can just step back, pushing back the diagonal bars back. he then moves to his left, between the bars and the door frame that we can see. In the same motion, the girl can move from left to right, in-between the bars and the door frame. then grabs the bars behind her and pulls them up

I got how they did it after watching it for the first time (your explanation is spot on). Do you like the illusion even though you fiqured it out easily?

@whymfrost That is exactly what is happening. If you look frame by frame you can actually see the shadows under the curtain of Hans moving back and to his left and the assistant steps in. You gotta be fast though, because the assistant steps in just a second before he reveals her - you can actually see her legs positioning even after he reveals the curtain.

Nevertheless, most of these illusions are kinda "easy" but the speed at which they are performed is truly amazing.
