For the longest time I didn't want to watch bleach, because when I saw the opening I thought it was a drama or something. If that one scene where ichigo is fighting wasn't in there, you could easily think this was a teen high school drama.

I know exactly what you mean. I watched this show when I was about 9? I'm 15 now. First anime I ever actually became in love with to the point of having a bleach club with my friends 2 years later, and getting my long hair cut to byakuya length. Either way, this opening sends chills down my spine. So much nostalgia. I legit cried when they changed it. I was so close to learning it. I can now sing in japanese thanks to bleach. So much love<3

This is probably the best anime opening of all time. it's a show that revolves around fighting, but this opening shows the social aspects of Ichigo's life.

Also, I own the white jacket with the blue and red stripes that Ichigo wears near the beginning. I remember watching this anime for the first time and felt so proud that I had the same Jacket!!
