look up crater hale on MARS, there are 2 views from different angles of it, both show the same things in the same place. If it were artifacts or photo errors, they would be random. I have used Photshop to examin these pictures stright from ESA, and I can definately pick out buildings and amny of structures. Trust us, this stuff is there, we know it!!!
You do realize that images on Google Earth or other such services are mass composites comprised of several thousand images compressed together to create the spherical map you see, right? This video is ignorance at its finest, what you are seeing are the edges of the images that had been put together, they become visible by digitally zooming in past a pictures ideal aspect ratio. The same "cities" you see here can be seen if I were to digitally zoom in on a picture of a pile of shit.

If you truly want the truth... well here it is. I was just looking at Google Earth; at Mt. St. Helens in the State of Washington, USA. Specifically, I zoomed in on Spirit Lake, Just north of the eruption. And ya know what?... That lake is filled with the same sort of shapes as what we're seeing on Mars. And we know that there are no cities or fields in Spirit Lake. That proves to me 100% that there is an anomaly at play here. Mystery Solved. Check it out for your self.

Mars is absolutely made-up! The planet Mars we know by the NASA's photos is absolutely unreal. Mars is not red. Mars is not orange. Mars is not yellow. Mars' skies are blue and not sepia. even with the filter off, the originals still show formations with right angles and croppings. its very very strange also that the color of the supposed REAL pictures are so deep and rich in color. it really does look as if they are covering things with color saturation!
Still, 'rectangularities' are visible even on terrain curvatures, let alone that their size after filtering is absolutely huge so they should be at least noticeable before filtering. Lines that go ascross curvatures go even across cliffs to some extent.. Take a low-fi picture and 'filter' it - even earth-sky start to show signs of being inhabitet by citizens. BTW - I think ETs are more real than others' stories of their non-existence.

@getreal155 The light intensity an object receives diminishes quadratically with distance. For Mars, any area receives about 0.4 times the sunlight than a same size area on earth does. However, the Mars atmosphere is thinner, absorbing less sunlight, thus compensating the effect a little. Nonetheless, the argument for necessary high sensitivity of the camera still holds due to the camera's distance from the planet surface.

@getreal155 The probe's (Mars Express) storage is 12 GBit (solid state), which is 1.5 GiB. Not very much for the amout of data collected. About data loss, i never mentioned anything about that, only that the transfer rate of the DSN is limited.

@gwani When you find the same structures/shapes on different photos, taken from different perspectives but in the same location, it eliminates compression artifacts. Compare NASA images with the ESA images and you will see that all the ESA pictures look the same. Overly bright and to much colour. Mars is NOT the same colour everywhere. The pictures are doctored to hide the structures. The crater hale images are the smoking gun. JMO
@freedomination2 There are no different perspectives. The probe's camera is always facing straight down to the planet's surface. The perspective images are computer generated, all using the same images as textures. This is also the reason why the artifacts seem to "follow" the geography. The paper i linked states that the images taken are JPEG-compressed *prior* to being stored in the probe's mass storage. Thats where the artifacts originate from.

The missions that they've sent had other goals then what they tell you. They didn't go there to collect rocks and search for signs of life. They and also the russians knew already for a long time that there was life. There is so much more going on then what they tell us.

When the Orbiter scans the surface the data is sent back and stiched together. This doesn't look alien at all. Now the monolith on Phobos is amazing and the structures on the back side of the moon
I understand your point and many share your opinion. This would make sense when the same type of structures would be visible all over the image regardless of the terrain. This however is not the case at all. The terrain is also somehow playing a key factor. Craters, steep hills and ridges never show signs of structures. This cannot be possible if the structures are caused by image processing afterward.
So this civilization is advanced enough to create huge cities on Mars much bigger than those on Earth, yet are not advanced enough to build any kind of structure ANYWHERE on Mars where there is any kind of incline at all. Genuine researchers and interested parties should view the accumulated data presented by Richard Hoagland. Pay close attention to both the images and the lectures please. There is also historical and archeological evidence presented by Sitchin, Childress, Hancock and others that show strong evidence that whatever once inhabited Mars may have had a major influence here on Earth. Look at high contrast imagery of Phobos, the martian moon and read about the 2 Russian probes lost there.
You are absolutely correct and I hope more people will have the courage to investigate the information they have presented. I'm not opposed to accepting what you say and the rectangular images shone, but if those are structures, why would ALL the structures ONLY be at right angles to each other? Of all the cities on Earth, only New York City has all of its streets in a grid pattern. Otherwise 99% of roads, streets, highways will curve, bend and run diagonally. Seeing a constant grid on Mars makes no sense if beings lived there. Perhaps the grid pattern in all photos is the result of a lens artifact - anomoly?
One possibility could be that more advanced beeings are building more structured, efficient and quicker then we do. I suppose that is not really hard to imagine.
How could we compare our building methods with the building methods of beeings that are much different and their technology thousands of years ahead of us. Maybe they are building a hole city in one week and is everything planned out long before.

getreal155 the satlink take pictures at same altitude, it take a picture from atmospheric orbit, and start to make an automatic zoom and take a lot of pictures from a same point, when you navigate google earth sistem any time that you do zoom in it charge a diferent altitude picture, is not one image that you enlarge, are layers from the same place, same in craters, you can see it on pictures from moon, or from the rovers making an angular view presented be composite frames, are small fragments
i hope some one of you read this explanation: that paterns that you see when you work on the images are the layers of diferent pictures taken be the satlink, satlinks cant take a picture of the entire planet at high resolutions couse the lens cant obtain all the surface, even the highest resolution pictures are layers from diferent altitudes so you can make a high zoom on it, like google earth, is not one picture from atmosphera to 5 cms of the surface, they take a lot of pictures making zoom
so you get frames at different altitude giving to you a full view from outer space to a couple of centimers from land, when nasa get all this images they work to put it togethers and then make an entire surface, they work on the images to make one and gives to you an edited picture blured so you dont see the diferent frames and layers as you see when you make alterations on the image, are not structures, are a lot of pictures togeter, make a scientific research before see or show this videos...
It sounds plausible at first but there are several problems with this theory. Why are only the images of Mars showing these anomalies?' Another one is 'how can it be that in the middle of structures we see 'natural looking craters?' And what about perspective? The satelite that is making these images is not hovering at different altitudes.
One thing more .. The area that is covered in one satelite image shot is much bigger then the images that they publish. (ESA)

the only problem I have with this (and maybe you can explain the difference to me) is that this phenomena will happen with any photograph if you fudge with the saturation and color in a digital photo editing software. Im a graphic designer/video editor and from my experience once you crank those values up to high then the original values in a photograph begin to "rip apart" if you will and you will get a strange blockiness in the photo. Ive had this happen with pictures of human faces even.
I agree. If the saturation is changed heavily you are correct. This would have an effect on the complete an hole image and could cause a 'blocky' effect. However, if you would leave the saturation out you still will get the same results. I'm not using saturation at all to get these results. The only thing that is critical are the lightness levels of red and yellow. Please take some time to get some ESA images that I'm showing and try it out yourself. You won't be dissapointed.

Fascinating... They look more like rural areas that one would see if flying over farm land on the planes of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. When you fly over farm land, the various tracts appear quilt-like. Your photos more closely resemble rural agricultural areas than cities, in my opinion. Either way, these are fascinating videos. Could be agricultural areas among them. Should have to ibe so if there is life. What I see often are buildings that have a shaded side. The reason I call them buildings is because I see the same buildigs in different images in a different perspective and shading.
Way to complicated to be meshing of pictures. I noticed light deep down in the black holes. Some black lines are shadows from the terrain stepping down. Some white lines are roofs and tops of walls while others seem to be floating highways and pads. The geometry is very organized as would be expected in a modern city. I can't see any exterior movement that would represent a blur. You could say this looks like many pieces of farmland overlaped but it looks way like intelligent design. I'm puzzled

You know what these actually look like? A computer generated landscape. It looks like the type of artifacts that are created on texture used to coat the surface of 3d models. When you browse the surface of Mars, set you Eye Altitude to around 1 mile and you will find these type of rectangular checker marks all around the surface. Just like he says, those checker marks must be the roads and streets of the ancient cities of Mars.

even with the filter off, the originals still show formations with right angles and croppings. its very very strange also that the color of the supposed REAL pictures are so deep and rich in color. it really does look as if they are covering things with color saturation!

Still, 'rectangularities' are visible even on terrain curvatures, let alone that their size after filtering is absolutely huge so they should be at least noticeable before filtering. Lines that go ascross curvatures go even across cliffs to some extent.. Take a low-fi picture and 'filter' it - even earth-sky start to show signs of being inhabitet by citizens. BTW - I think ETs are more real than others' stories of their non-existence.

@getreal155 The light intensity an object receives diminishes quadratically with distance. For Mars, any area receives about 0.4 times the sunlight than a same size area on earth does. However, the Mars atmosphere is thinner, absorbing less sunlight, thus compensating the effect a little. Nonetheless, the argument for necessary high sensitivity of the camera still holds due to the camera's distance from the planet surface.

@getreal155 The probe's (Mars Express) storage is 12 GBit (solid state), which is 1.5 GiB. Not very much for the amout of data collected. About data loss, i never mentioned anything about that, only that the transfer rate of the DSN is limited.

When will people start to understand that images do not need to be 'tampered' with to produce a decent clean and clear image. There are no imaging artifacts that are created by image processing itself. This is a complete lie.
There are many examples of clear images without any artifacts being present at all. Ever wondered how this would be possible if every image is going throught the same process?

@gwani When you find the same structures/shapes on different photos, taken from different perspectives but in the same location, it eliminates compression artifacts. Compare NASA images with the ESA images and you will see that all the ESA pictures look the same. Overly bright and to much colour. Mars is NOT the same colour everywhere. The pictures are doctored to hide the structures. The crater hale images are the smoking gun. JMO

@freedomination2 There are no different perspectives. The probe's camera is always facing straight down to the planet's surface. The perspective images are computer generated, all using the same images as textures. This is also the reason why the artifacts seem to "follow" the geography. The paper i linked states that the images taken are JPEG-compressed *prior* to being stored in the probe's mass storage. Thats where the artifacts originate from.

I understand your point and many share your opinion. This would make sense when the same type of structures would be visible all over the image regardless of the terrain. This however is not the case at all. The terrain is also somehow playing a key factor. Craters, steep hills and ridges never show signs of structures. This cannot be possible if the structures are caused by image processing afterward.

Genuine researchers and interested parties should view the accumulated data presented by Richard Hoagland. Pay close attention to both the images and the lectures please. There is also historical and archeological evidence presented by Sitchin, Childress, Hancock and others that show strong evidence that whatever once inhabited Mars may have had a major influence here on Earth. Look at high contrast imagery of Phobos, the martian moon and read about the 2 Russian probes lost there.

I'm not opposed to accepting what you say and the rectangular images shone, but if those are structures, why would ALL the structures ONLY be at right angles to each other? Of all the cities on Earth, only New York City has all of its streets in a grid pattern. Otherwise 99% of roads, streets, highways will curve, bend and run diagonally. Seeing a constant grid on Mars makes no sense if beings lived there. Perhaps the grid pattern in all photos is the result of a lens artifact - anomoly?

As different as another civilization could be, there will still be basic similarities like winding roads. another thing are the real structures on moon and mars, that you have a clear view of the image, but any way. make your research on how it work, this go to help you to distinguish real structures from scanning pictures . . . and hiden structures in that procedure, they cover real structures with this kind of layers effect, why, becouse are so obvious that if they dont make this square or rectangular layers a lot of scientist note this instead to be skeptical and say THAT IS THE SCANNING EFFECT

getreal155 the satlink take pictures at same altitude, it take a picture from atmospheric orbit, and start to make an automatic zoom and take a lot of pictures from a same point, when you navigate google earth sistem any time that you do zoom in it charge a diferent altitude picture, is not one image that you enlarge, are layers from the same place, same in craters, you can see it on pictures from moon, or from the rovers making an angular view presented be composite frames, are small fragments

i hope some one of you read this explanation: that paterns that you see when you work on the images are the layers of diferent pictures taken be the satlink, satlinks cant take a picture of the entire planet at high resolutions couse the lens cant obtain all the surface, even the highest resolution pictures are layers from diferent altitudes so you can make a high zoom on it, like google earth, is not one picture from atmosphera to 5 cms of the surface, they take a lot of pictures making zoom

so you get frames at different altitude giving to you a full view from outer space to a couple of centimers from land, when nasa get all this images they work to put it togethers and then make an entire surface, they work on the images to make one and gives to you an edited picture blured so you dont see the diferent frames and layers as you see when you make alterations on the image, are not structures, are a lot of pictures togeter, make a scientific research before see or show this videos...

Another one is 'how can it be that in the middle of structures we see 'natural looking craters?' And what about perspective? The satelite that is making these images is not hovering at different altitudes.
One thing more .. The area that is covered in one satelite image shot is much bigger then the images that they publish. (ESA)

the only problem I have with this (and maybe you can explain the difference to me) is that this phenomena will happen with any photograph if you fudge with the saturation and color in a digital photo editing software. Im a graphic designer/video editor and from my experience once you crank those values up to high then the original values in a photograph begin to "rip apart" if you will and you will get a strange blockiness in the photo. Ive had this happen with pictures of human faces even.

I agree. If the saturation is changed heavily you are correct. This would have an effect on the complete an hole image and could cause a 'blocky' effect. However, if you would leave the saturation out you still will get the same results. I'm not using saturation at all to get these results. The only thing that is critical are the lightness levels of red and yellow. Please take some time to get some ESA images that I'm showing and try it out yourself. You won't be dissapointed.

There was a series of calamities in recent prehistoric times which left this planet alone habitable. The people of Mars, if any of their descendants still live, are living around the near stars. They would not have had a way to know if anything in this system would remain habitable.

Fascinating... They look more like rural areas that one would see if flying over farm land on the planes of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. When you fly over farm land, the various tracts appear quilt-like. Your photos more closely resemble rural agricultural areas than cities, in my opinion. Either way, these are fascinating videos. Great job!

Could be agricultural areas among them. Should have to ibe so if there is life. What I see often are buildings that have a shaded side. The reason I call them buildings is because I see the same buildigs in different images in a different perspective and shading.

Way to complicated to be meshing of pictures. I noticed light deep down in the black holes. Some black lines are shadows from the terrain stepping down. Some white lines are roofs and tops of walls while others seem to be floating highways and pads. The geometry is very organized as would be expected in a modern city. I can't see any exterior movement that would represent a blur. You could say this looks like many pieces of farmland overlaped but it looks way like intelligent design. I'm puzzled

Yep, looks like Nasa stretched images over 3d models to create these images. That's why there are blatant corners cut off in some of the pictures in the background. Mystery solved getreal155. I believe in life in space, and aliens, and even other planetary structures -- but what you show in these videos are NOT cities on mars.

You know what these actually look like? A computer generated landscape. It looks like the type of artifacts that are created on texture used to coat the surface of 3d models. Google search "Texture Artifacts". I think I may have stumbled onto something -- turns out these pictures are frauds! Tinyurl dot com / 3vqlef8 is a perfect example. Thank me later!

Hmm, the effect is interesting, but i think sixbilliontoone is right with his answer, just an idea: why arent you using your methodes on a destert (like sahara) and try to find citys there...

When you browse the surface of Mars, set you Eye Altitude to around 1 mile and you will find these type of rectangular checker marks all around the surface. Just like he says, those checker marks must be the roads and streets of the ancient cities of Mars.

I disagree... I think your looking for something, you want to see/believe it so bad you give this explanation. please don't jump to conclusions. one likely explanation is the image is made up of thousands
