I am implying that UFC is an entertainment business first, MMA sport second and Martial Art, sometimes. Kicking ass is neato in the video games, and it's cool to root on your favorite sport hero, but I don't believe the best martial artists are in the UFC or fighting on TV. That's ego which=lack of discipline from enabling greed.

UFC's version of what MMA is very different because the rules support the organization and fans' opinions. Drama and hyperbole are employed to make money. UFC=entertainment, JKD=philosophy and combative applications. Reason I explain is because w/language like that, you should try Martial Arts, you need discipline.

Not so sure UFC has the best fighters in the world. UFC is flashy and likely to use drama to sell fights. UFC is tailored for U.S. aud.  The UFC owns the air waves of prize mma fighting. The key word being PRIZE. The type of fighter who joins the UFC wants a lot of attention, money and respect. Holistic martial artist has restraint from greed and fame. Best fighters or most vain and ambitious? UFC has the biggest voice and deepest pockets, but just because you're loud doesn't mean you're right.
