  • i wonder whoat old film footage they used and modded for this fake orientation film? lol

  • hehe nice fan made fun!

  • What year is this supposed to take place in it sounded like the whole point was so that "in 50 yrs. they will yeild technological advances blah blah blah even pchological advances n change mankind as we know it" sounds like velenzetti equation wikipedia it if u dont know

  • fake

  • that sound like HAARP ;P

  • I love Lost. What other TV show does stuff like this?

  • This was planted by ABC for their show, Lost. hoffittsfilms dot blogspot dot com

  • calmemistresssally. dharma is a branch of hanso.

  • 'tis a fake. It doesn't have anyone in Dharma outfits, and the technology is different from what Dharma used. Nico, it's really NOT that hard to fake this kind of video. Microsoft Movie Maker could do it.

  • good fake

  • It's clearly a fake. It's clips from public service videos of the 50s/60s edited together cleverly. What gives it away most is the voice over, which is clearly a young guy doing it. Also, the fake that nothing from the show ever shows up.

  • not so, the satellite is suposed to find magnetic anomolies on the surface of the earth, which is what the island is.

  • I`m sure that obviously you don't have a clue about how hard is to "fake" a video like this one. You really need to have an amazing technology and quite a lot of audio-visual resources that only a big production company has.

I`d say that this video is absolutely original and it's made by the LOST production crew.

  • Cool... interesting. I guess there's debate as to whether this is real or not. I guess I don't really care. It was a cool video.

  • Did he say Hanso Industries?

  • Where's the chinese dude?

  • Nice video. What font did you use for the Hanso logo on the factory?

  • you know what annoys me more about this video than anything else? Not every fucking movie made by bad companies in the 60s start off with some fucked up, weird, screwy film problem with weird numbers and burn spots. its sooo fucknig cliche

  • lol! best piece of constructive critisism I've heard so.

  • far

  • Its called "Film" you idiot. Thats what it does.

  • what s that shit

  • the narrative is almost entirely bullshit. I love it!

  • Could I have more stock footage, please?

  • Laughed my ass off, when the little thing stopped over the lost island...lol.

  • Just saying i've been doing this ever since it started and this little video was completely made you can easily make the film look grainy and all. It could all be a bunch of old movies with a guys voice in the background. The thing that gives it away is that they say the Hanso Foundation student graduated from all 50 states when we all know that the Hanso Foundation isnt in the united states at all it is in europe. So this is completely fake. Probably from an old sci-fi movie from the 50s 60s.

  • I'll agree that the voice-over doesn't sound authentic. In addition, it uses the term "nanotechnology," which apparently was first used by Norio Taniguchi in 1974.

  • i think this video is real,it's much faster than most vid's; you can skip straight to the end from the start with no problem, and if you have a look at hoffitfilms' profile it say's he's 74, has only posted this video, and that he last signed in a week ago. If he has enough time on his hands to make this to fool people surely he'd log in more often?

  • FAKE FAKE AND FAKE!!!

Whoever can take an old film of the '60 with scientists on it and edit it to make seem lookalike a old Hanso film

  • clearly fake. the voiceover is terrible, and if it was real it would have been posted on one of the official sites (like thehansofoundation.org)

  • FAKE.

  • You are deffiantly right dude this is fake.

  • it's done very well. i'm impressed. but the timing is all wrong. there's no way that hanso had already been around for years in 1965 with stations all over the place. i'm pretty sure it was started in the 70s. it started with alvar hanso, who's definatly not that old.

  • Hanso HAS been around for years. According to thehansofoundation.org, Alvar was active in supplying muntions during WWII. Also the site says that the Foundation has been offering grants to worthy experiments for 40 years. So the timeline in the film seems to fit.

  • Well the thing that gives it away is the america thing around the shot but if this was real Alvar Hanso is estimated to be 200 years old from the age advancement. Just saying.

  • It is clear that this video was made and putted here by the producers of Lost. Like Gary Troup book, and Hanso webpage, it is another attempt to make Lost background more realistic.

You will see that this is the only video this user has. You can find this video here and in IFILMS only. And is the same “user”.

Well done by Touchtone Pictures, ABC, Disney, producers and staff, and who knows who else get a slice of this cake called Lost.

  • Quite telling in this film is the fact that satellite is also looking for magnetic anamolies on Earth.

However, I don't think anyone, back in 1965, concieved of "nanotechnology."

  • Hanso Industries was the precursor of the Hanso Foundation. Hanso Industries first specialized in arnaments.

    I am such a geek!

  • It's not real at all. I don't really think the maker of this film actually wanted to make anybody believe it was real, since this video is by "Hanso Industries" and not the "Hanso Foundation"

    ...

    Retards.

  • hey dinosaur, do your homework.

  • Why would anyone be that obsessed to make a fake video that good? Its real.

  • Perfect, you guys should be making films...

    great stuff...

  • That was fun. DID you make it?

  • Wow, so many things innacurate, but still well put together. Nice fake.

  • Such as? please elaborate.

  • Okay. For one, at the end they showed people graduating from America. Any lost fan can tell you that Hanso is based in Europe/Australia.

  • Actually, Hanso is a "Danish Industrialist". However, the Degroots, who went on to creat DHARMA were from University of Michigan where they recieved funding from HANSO.

  • Wow such a well made vid, looks almost like the real ones in Lost.

  • this is interesting but seems faked but well done

  • Damn. Where'd you get this?

    OR did you make it?

  • Excellently made dude! (or dudette). :)

  • ummm.. Question:

arent the first to shots( the sun and red sky)the opening to 2001: Space Odyssey??

  • thats a really well made vid...any chance you can private message me to tell me if its real....
