  • Great! Richter Breath! Fresh! Powerful!

  • ❤ it!

  • Exquisite! I played this, but only a small fraction as well as this; a very small fraction, like 1/100th. lol

If you love this, you'll love it played on his CD on a 1912 Bosendorfer. PERFECTION! The sound quality is incredible! He must have the best studios in the business because the sound quality of his CDs are much richer than my other CDs. Amazing quality, and renditions of Beethoven and Chopin. Mr. Erez is the KING of Beethoven and Chopin.

  • i hate the sound of modern pianos post 1930's. This one especially sound horribly mechanical and metallic with a harsh sound. all over the registers. beethoven is not helping either. I simply do not like beethoven's attempts at making music.

  • @oneginee You don´t like beethoven?:O He´s one of my favourite composers.

  • @SweChristmas honestly I have never liked beethoven at all yet I like a very wide array of classical composers well known and less known before, contemporary and after him. I find his music irritatingly insistent, repetitive, pompous. I sincerely think he was no genius at all. Noise and fortissimos is not grandeur. I have met other musicians who feel the same. So did Chopin by the way.

  • @oneginee Well said. I feel the same way about Beethoven and Bach. No emotion: just repetition.

This performance, on the other hand, is something I can tolerate.

  • @Kaggypants did you just say Beethoven= no emotion???! are you listening??

  • @raizelmama I hear repetition. If you wanted to state that Beethoven has emotion, you should just refer me to Sonata 23.

  • @Kaggypants

Repitition isn't necssarily what prevents a piece from being emotional. Look at pieces in the Romantic era. Some are fairly repetiive, but it doesn't make them any less interesting to listen to (although arguably, maybe they did "use" it in a more clever manner than the Classical composers). Either way, I think Beethoven and Bach are wonderful in their own ways!

Have ytou heard Beethoven's Emperor Concerto? The second movement, in particular, is very nice.

  • @oneginee strangely, I agree

  • I kneel before you.

    Thank you.

  • The bass in this recording is so well pronounced. I got shivers at 0:35, 1:40, 1:54, 4:44, 6:40, and 5:00+. Your run at 6:56 was splendid. The swift change from forte legato to the pianissimo staccato was well done.

  • The Kempff version is better...

  • @TyZeff29200 much better by a small margine

  • @furelise83

    tzvi's still young. big margin.

  • only 6000 views? you cant be serious. how does hannah montana have more views than this talented pianist.

  • @deerodchan Millions of mindless teeny-boppers vs only a handful of intelligent people. 6,000,000 : 6000 Sounds about right.

  • how old were you when you started playing the piano?

  • @adamjenson4500

were u talkin to me adam? i started when i was in 1st grade. I stopped because i broke my hand and restarted when i was in the 4th grade. However i never really liked classical music until i turned 18. now im 20.

  • Tzvi inspired me to relearn classical music once again. after i heard his chopin nocture op 55 no 1 it totally threw me away.

now listening to his tempest sonata makes me wanna play more classical.
