@Marsdevilsvolta..thanks for the compliment. i did grow and change plenty btw . what i see in afi now that i never saw before was a smug and arrogant vibe. i always saw it in jade but to me it seems like it spread to davey and hunter. adam still seems grounded though. the way i knew i grew out of liking this band (aside from the change in attitude) was the simple fact that i grew tired of crash love in less than a month. all their other albums i would listen to non-stop for months on end.

that and the completely uninspired video for their first single and overall weak lyrics in comparison to many songs of the past, i pretty much checked out of afi land. i wont be back until the next album to see if they captured some of their essence back.

This is exactly why i love AFI.

They put so put emotion into their songs. This one has so much into mostly during the last minute and 30 seconds

i wish i could find another band who does that.

well yeah, there was no youtube 5 years ago, camera technology was still pretty expensive so not many had access to a decent camera to do anything and the most affordable editor was a crappy windows movie maker (free) and how many people back then, especially my age (then 14-15) would actually take the time to learn this stuff. now adays, anyone can do it cause the technology is cheap, and more people have access to broadband.
