you do it when your like gona go off the wave and you walk up to put your self in front or when your close to the curl an water is hitting it but if you keep trying it youl get it

Hang Ten is one of the most difficult maeuvres in surfing... and the wave needs to be lean... otherwise when you step on the nose with all your weight the nose will sink... Go for the Hang-Five and then try the Ten... but keep your weight (head) behind your knees...to birng th C.G. backwards...
