I don't understand why under every Jonsi and Alex video people are talking about them being gay? Who gives a shit? Their music is mind blowing, ...beyond beautiful it is so unique.....with so much soul and emotion. Riceboy sleeps is the incredible thing I have ever heard. Thank you for being so amazing, seriously you have no idea how it makes me feel.

I just recently found out about Jonsi, and I'm very impressed. I love his passion in his music. You can feel it, not just hear it. It's sublime and wonderful, and it fits any mood. It makes one feel alive. On a side note, I also love his obsession with birds. And to the homophobes out there, sexuality has nothing to do with artistic talent. Emotions and humanity do, however. Whether you love a man or a woman, you still feel love, and will create for it.

I respect Jonsi even more when I found out he was gay. Why? Because he isn't 'over the top" gay like Chris Crocker and Boy George. That's annoying. But Jonsi keeps it cool and calm (about being gay) That's why my spirit of his music stays very strong with me :) Keep up the good work Jonsi!

my favourite thing to do in the world is lie under the stars listening to riceboy sleeps. Life can be really shit sometimes..but my goodness their music makes everything better, like everything is going to be ok. even their sad songs have a beautiful sense of hope in them.

Well said James. I'm a massive Sigur Rós fan too & have seen them twice.. I love this album by Jónsi & Alex. It really is an impressive album & sends shivers down my spine, especially 'Happiness..' Also good for you for hitting back at that idiot with the homophobic rants below. It's a shame that people still act so disgaceful & try to poison others with their vile beliefs.
