Apparently, Jon is famous for giving the "stink eye" to his band members when they mess up...he says so himself...and he says you never want to see it! I was writing more about the look on his face than any light shining through his eyes. He wears sunglasses a lot of the time since he's fair and I've read he has sensitive eyes, gets allergies, etc. But what gorgeous baby blues they are!!!!

He actually looked like something may have angered him at 2:12, but I still don't believe in the "stink eye." The light just shines through his eyes. Mine do that. It's called astigmatism. It shows more with people with lighter colored eyes. Hehe! "stink eye' is funny though. Anyone that passionate about music is going to make serious and odd faces every now and then.

@wwcherylww i sing. that's a very demanding vocal and it can take a lot out of him. he a very skilled singer but that is one of his toughest songs to sing

BTW - I was at this concert in the 10th row and didn't notice the "stink eye" because my husband and I were on the other side. But what a thrill to be so close at our first Bon Jovi concert! It was outstanding - next only to the Rolling Stones and U2 -- and it certainly won't be our last BJ concert. If you get a chance -- go see them. Highly recommended rock and roll experience. I fell in love that night!!

At 2:44 Richie starts his solo early before Jon is finished singing the words "to say these words to you." He's clearly pissed off, so he walks over to tell Richie he's done a "no-no." Jon's got a reputation as a perfectionist band leader. But he's not perfect either. Sometimes he forgets the words. But he's sure a hottie, even for 48! And what a voice!!

You can see during the big Richie Solo- Jon snaps out of his 'stink eye'. All's well in BJ world now. He's smiling again and then rounds his arm to wrap it up!

I think Jon was mad because Richie was drowning him out. I saw another angle and Richie was singing (loudly). Jon got pissed when he first look at Richie and later shook his head at him then looks down during the short solo. You can hear him if you listen closely.

I thought Richie did great and was actually helping Jon out. Jon gets touchy ;o
