  • Monty Python theme song...makes me laugh

  • This medal ceremony is something hilarious. LOL. and it's always nice to see Johnny on the top of the podium. He was truly the best in the event.

Evan looks scary ... Stephane looks like he has nice sportsmanship.

  • I like how Stephane had such a good attitude about getting third.

  • Representing Swizzerland, Steffin Lambell!! rofl. :)

  • what a handshake!

    jajjaja

  • Evan can not even look in Johnny's direction. He looks disgusted or p--sed. I have heard Johnny say that his relationship with Evan is fair to poor so I believe there is a mutual dislike between the two. On a side note Johnny has beautiful green eyes and all 3 medalists are eye candy.

  • @winer65 i don't blame him because johnny talks so much shit about him. I've never heard Evan say crap about Johnny until recently - he probably got fed up.

  • I never believed in all that Johnny-Evan-Rivalry-stuff until i saw this! I still hope its kinda made up and they get along well backstage.

    Congrats Johnny!

  • i know that this sounds wierd...but i'm honestly hoping that the fight is a coverup and that evan's relationship with the other skater is also a cover up and that evan and johnny are actually a couple. that would be so hot. LOL

  • That doesnt sound wierd at all! ;)

  • haha thanks!!

  • LOL! that would be great

  • I totally agree with you, DarlingNikki2, that Johnny is not being a jerk - it is only natural that he takes pride in his winning, because he only knows how he managed to overcome poor form from last two seasons. Go Johnny, you are the best! I hope he wins the GP Final and medals at the Worlds.

  • oh crap

this is some hilarious stuff lol

johnny is so happy! (so am i)

and stephane is a good sport

and dang evan looks like an angry man lol

  • wow...Evan looks soo peeved at Johnny. i'd say that Johnny's the only one that looks happy because Stephane's upset at his performances and Evan's...yeah. Johannie Weir, Evan Lysaker, Steffin Lambell..so funny.

  • whoa ice between Evan and Johnny!

Evan is a really bad loser...

  • It was like a personal Cold War moment between them! I don't know what happened between this event and the COI tour (where they seemed to be getting along), but whatever it is, I hope it won't blow all out of proportion come Nationals. Johnny and Evan need to focus on themselves and forget all the 'showdown, throwdown b.s.' the media likes to push.

  • Johnny was great at this event. However, he's such a terrible sport...when he doesn't win, he cries (Nationals), when he does win he's such a %*&#*# jerk about it (cup of china interview). It's people like this that ruin such a beautiful sport.

  • I think Johnny cried at Nationals because he did not want to be there (or any other events) last season and was forced to go or (probably) be banished by the USFSA. He also cried for his loss and what's wrong with that? Yes, it would've been better if he had cried in private, but he's an emotional young man, so, there's no shame in crying in public. As for being a jerk after winning, I hardly think he's any worse than Lysacek has been since he won Nationals last season...

  • Well, that's a good point. I don't exactly have a lot of facts to go on, and am just going by their reaction in the media. Now that you mention it, both Evan and Johnny have both been really unpleasant. I guess it makes for good TV, anyway... Crying in public is fine; I probably would have too; I just don't care for the "I'm clearly the winner, always, and how dare anyone else ever win" attitude. However, this is all nicely framed with the Monty Python music. LOL!

  • Johnny has been run through the wringer for a couple of seasons by the media, public and the USFSA and seemed to be doubting his own talents last season. Now, it looks like he has it together and when you're back on top after going through so much personal and professional pain, I think you have the right to act a little arrogant, LOL!

  • this is so funny... their faces (Evan on 4:37 and 5:23, Johny's mouth on 7:39), pronounciation of their names, Evan is higher then Johnny (even on a lower podium) it makes Stephane looks so tiny, and I've got a wrong impresion of what Johhny's right hand is doing whilst standing on the podium because the black glove is almost invisible xP

  • Have you ever seen gloomier skaters on the podium?;-) I think except for Johnny nobody was happy. Evan was beaten by his fellow countryman after leading in the SP and, well, Stéphane was really not satisfied with his presentation. But I wish him all the best for todays FS at the Cup of Russia. Go Stéphane!!!

  • Thanks for posting this. Nice to see Johnny smile happily.

  • what the hell is evan's problem? love johnny!

  • I don't think Johnny was being a total jerk at all. He was finally expressing confidence in his skating after a horrible season last year. Evan on the other hand was the one who came off sounding like a sore loser in the post free skate interview.

  • Yohannie Where (lol) is adorable. Steffin Lambell(lmao) is so classy, I just love him. Ewan Lysaker(lol) looked like someone run over his dog and then backed over it to make sure it's dead.

  • чтоб быть фигуристом, не обязательно быть педерастом...

  • I can't help but giggle at their choice of music. It really is the Monty Python theme now, whatever it was originally.

  • thank you for posting this. Johnny looks like Evan is going to knock him off the podium
