  • Thanks a bunch. You shared a lot of information that you didn't have to. Really appreciate it.

  • How many bags do you have those coins wrapped in? Holy cow!

  • It will be great if you can re-do this video. This video is not that organize. Also, can't ID what you were trying to show. If you could place different type of silver on top of a table and then go through them one by one will be great.

  • Good Job! Keep stacking.

  • Great info, thanks!!!

  • If I was going to get the coins then I would learn how to smelt them down and make my own coins of pure silver.

  • Please make more videos!

    Thank you!

  • @omgwowface LOL let me tell you what happened.

In 2008-2009, silver (along with some rare coins, and all the good stuff) went really cheap as a result of the credit crunch and I wanted to buy as much as I could. I was eating poorly, somedays surviving on plain oatmeal. When silver's $10 an ounce, you feel guilty spending even a few bucks on good food. I lost 30-40 pounds over the course of the year.

Now that silver's overvalued, it's time to live up, since I'm not giving up as much silver.

  • @FortNikitaBullion Lol @ silver being "overvalued"...

  • @omgwowface There are several interesting forecasts of silver correcting in the next year, mostly as a result of the predicted Alt-A mortgage defaults. It's also part of the Elliott Wave Cycle. In any event, silver has increased far more than the real rate of inflation, and is at a multi-decade high. I think I'll hold off.

If you want to buy silver at this time, I would recommend some of the usually rarer coins, such as BU Morgan Dollars, BU Walkers, etc, for the limited downside.

  • @FortNikitaBullion Silver is going up for more reasons than inflation, and what are you talking about anyways the price of almost all food has just double is that not inflation? Inflation only applies to necessities the fact that computers cost less means nothing really. Also how do you plan on liquidating your copper pennies or are those for when TSHF? How you gonna spend them?

  • @omgwowface I'm looking at M3 charts and real measures of inflation, like the Shadow Government Stats I mentioned in a different video. Gold has mostly followed these inflation charts, but silver has way blown it, which makes me suspicious. I see today as another 2008 bubble with some correction to come. In a future video, I might discuss safer silver coins to buy, like the Uncirculated Morgans I briefly mentioned in my other comment.

  • @FortNikitaBullion Cool, I was just thinking about sorting some copper pennies if I can get an efficient way to sort 10,000 pennies within a few minutes. That's why I asked how you plan on using the pennies. Do you sell them to someone? How do you spend them for their copper value instead of their face value?

  • @omgwowface Shit, silver is the most undervalued metal on earth

  • @FortNikitaBullion true commitment.

  • @FortNikitaBullion You are a man composed of metal markets. Your biology unconsciously responds and fluctuates according to the abstract trade structure of metals. You are like a market infected tetsuo.

  • @omgwowface ur really rude u little bastaxd

  • @topazrain want 2 fk my pusy?

  • @omgwowface I look just like him - weak and fragile. My metal is protected by a 1.8lb alloy and 120lbs of lead. If you break in my home, you won't get silver but lead.

  • @omgwowface that boys ugly

  • @omgwowface what the fuck dude =D???

  • Andrew, I've got some US 90% silver pre1964 coins for sale.

    Dime - 96 pcs

    Quarter - 58 pcs

    Half dollar - 20 pcs

If you were interested in buying them from me, please let me know when you come to Taipei city,Taiwan. I'll give you my phone number.

I'll sell them at spot melt value price based on Coinflation. Please let me know.

  • @mich65ek2 I'll be in Taipei on May 2-6. I do look forward to checking out these deals. Do they accept US dollars so I can avoid exchange fees?

  • @FortNikitaBullion They? Who are they? I'm talking about me here. I own this private sale. I don't really want USD, because the local bank does not accept coins, small bills and the used note that has too much stiff folds, they prefer new unused notes. For me, it is very inconvenient. So I will only take Taiwanese dollar. But, don't worry, you won't lose much if you exchange under USD 1000-. Let me know before you get here. I got some other goodies lined up for you.

  • Dude...I've got a bunch of these Jap 100yen (1959~1964), 60% silver content. Are they really worth it? 'Cos I'd really think they are uqly designed, not worldwide recognizable and not much of numis value..

  • @mich65ek2 That's exactly why you want to buy it. Besides the issue with the face value, It's so unrecognizeable and undesireable that you can buy it at much lower than the spot price.

  • Did this guy carry his entire silver fortune into the student lounge to film this????

  • your the one that got me started in copper pennies and silver and i cant thank you enough,,,,,silver and pennies are my life now and i beleive i will have a secure future because of your videos.....t.ahnks alot and i would love to see your whole silver collection.....love all your pennies.

  • @LegAmputation His jacket is so cute though!

  • @rockshow1806 he was smarter and you stupide

  • @mdichou Uhhhh.....

  • @LegAmputation Get a life,Idiot. this guy is doing a service to people willing to listen. Take the negativity and watch another channel.

  • Andrew you must be part Hound dog. I say that greatly cause you are very bright perseptive and all be it, sharp on how to save. Best of luck. I will start looking at my coins again as I used to when I was a kid. :)

  • this guy knows the score. You're looking at a future millionaire.

  • @tbstef Another thing you can do (this requires you know the bank teller very well), is before buying a $25 box, weighing it. You'll need a good scale for this. Choose the heaviest box available.

This will not work with rolls wrapped by customers, as too often they are off by one or two coins per roll, and generally not very uniform.

This technique will save you quite some time and headache when sorting through pennies.

  • keep on collecting silver

  • @worldelite1 he has a pretty epic collection, but ditto.

  • @odin422 Thanks. Unfortunately, many people don't seem to appreciate it --- I show people my coin collection and they talk about it like I inherited it, they ask me why don't I sell it and go out with them and drink, do drugs (literally!), etc. It's my blood, sweat, and tears, and has taken many years to amass.

  • keep up the good work! I started buying only bullion coins then I am onto silver rounds. Buy the silver for the metal content not for the numismatic figures. Good stacks!

  • I think you need a safe or safe deposit box - if you don't already have one. That's a nice amount you've saved up.

  • @terminal99 There are several reasons you don't want to use a safe deposit box. For starters, there are reasons why your safe deposit box may be seized, either due to national emergency or for tax liens, judgements, etc. Read your bank contract. It is quite likely that any property in the box belongs to the bank.

  • I literally just spend silver coins in my area. I find people are accepting them for the silver content because it makes logical sense. I live in the suburban areas of Queens, New York. Only stupid people want to accept fiat because fiat is worthless being that it carries no inherent value in it!

  • Really? Nice!! You guy will be well-prepared for any currency disruptions.

  • We want more videos!

  • Sorry, busy with PhD.

  • you need to post a new vid

  • Andrew,

WHen are you going to post more videos?

  • Good info... added it to my Silver Coinage playlist.

    Thanks,

    Ashcraft Coin - Bullion Dealer

  • great video looking forward to your next video on foreign coins.

  • good vid :o)

  • You're quite correct regarding the Mark coins! Acutally they're .625-Silver until 1997, from there on 'till they introduced the Euro it's even .925-Silver in those 10 Mark coins. And yes, they are still changeable in every Bundesbank! 1 Euro = 1,95583 Mark !!! -- Greets from Germany!

  • Are you interested in buying German coins? I've got plenty for sale. Many are silver and numismatic. I accept even trades too. I am in the USA. Cheers.

  • I may be interested. Can you be more specific on what you have? Do you use eBay?

  • I use Overstock Auctions. A MUCH better coin selling site than ebay! It's the only one I bother using anymore. I'll give you my web site privately.

  • @Elinitsam i would like to trade or buy some =-)

  • Wow man, awesome - you got a real good head on your shoulders - I hope it all pays off huge one day

  • You're awesome dude :) Wish I was as smart as you when I was younger (Im guessing you're younger than 34 yo) ;)

  • great vid! any tips? Thanks

  • I would simply recommend getting to know the actual silver weight (ASW) of different coins from around the world, so you know what you're getting. Try to aim for getting silver at at least $1/ounce below spot if possible. Attend lots of coin shows. Call all the dealers in your area. It'll pay off. Also as mentioned in the video, try to get foreign silver coins with significant face values to lessen downside risks. These coins are generally cheaper too.
