I've had 5 or 6 episodes where I fell to the ground, started shaking and couldn't move my arms or legs for several hours, but was conscious- they never figured out what it was (or told me), I was on anti-seizure meds for a while and also carried around cogentin... anyone have any clue what that was?
I live in Canada. There are pros and cons to our system, too- it can take 6 months to several years to see some specialists, even for acute conditions. But Canada isn't a "socialist country, despite what some say. I just generally distrust the medical community in general now, after being screwed around for more than a decade. Check out alternative ways to help yourself if allopathic medicine isn't getting you anywhere... can't hurt.
This is why I'm glad I live in Canada. My nephew has Epilepsy, and my brother and his wife barely scrape by, so they would be in big trouble if they were elsewhere.
And those are middle class people. I don't care if health insurance for everyone is "socialist", I feel like it would be a good thing. Only the rich could afford dealing with a chronic condition like this in America.

4:58 to 5:10...was that a petit mal seizure? I know there are also grand mal seizures. Not sure what the difference is...
77ukraine 2 years ago
petit = smaller jerks and twitches
grand = would be like dramatic flailing and kicking
