  • actually the islamic law of accepting hadees as sahih meaning authentic is that id does not contradict with quran or authentic hadees so this goes against quran so this cannot be accepted and also this hadees is inthe chronicles of islam not even in weak hadees

  • Although I am Christian, I try to remain impartial. I thought Adnan made a good point when he noted some of the contradictions in the sources; however, after I heard David respond, I realised Adnan's point was a moot one, and became convinced that he is guilty of consequent ignorance.

  • Actually the Gospel of Thomas is from the 2nd century, that's why there are elements of Valentinian Gnosticism contained with in it.

  • David did well, Adana is ok but his rebuttal is weak just speaks a lot of irrelevant things, Adnan say the satanic verses are contradictory, how many hadiths contradict them each other but yet are still kept.

we all watch this debate from our own background beliefs christian, muslim or what ever so we obviously lean towards our side, i hope i have not done this to much.

  • David is trying to apply the method used by western historians on the satanic verses and rejects the Islamic method , yet he still fails , Great Job Adnan .

  • @Tchado1000 Agreed. The thing is, the Satanic verses do not match the Qur'anic challenge regarding it's unique literary form (an objective miracle by the way), so it is not from the books Author. There are no reports of the muslims worshipping the 3 intercessors for the long period of time, they were just known as strict monotheists.

David is desperate and you can't forget that, remember him in "is muhammad a true prophet" brings up the same bankrupt arguments that have already been refuted.

  • @oombuddah The satanic verses are not only mentioned by one one source but by multiple sources, Islamic sources.

  • @lizmaina1 Islamic sources doesn't mean it's a part of Islam (Qur'an and Authentic hadith only).

Satanic verses are even virtually as a consensus rejected by all Qur'anic exegetes too.

  • @oombuddah ahahaha Quran is a mess the whole kuran and hathid is weak

  • i can not understand what the brother say about ibn taymiya at the beginning can somebody write what ibn taymiya says!

  • David say that the majority of Christian Scholars accept that the Gospel of Thomas wasn't the earliest Gospel therefore we have to accept it...

...But he's quick to say that we cannot accept what Muslims scholars say about the "Satanic Verses" because they are not objective.

If that's not double standard then I don't know what it is.

  • @medaa25 Gospel of Thomas is not only accepted by only Christian Scholars but by ALL Scholars IN THIS FIELD, ADNAN IS NOT IN ANY WAY SKILLED IN HIS DEBATES AND SPREADS NON-FACTUAL STATEMENTS

  • David thinks that there isnt muslims who memorized the quran top to bottom. We should actually bring some hafeez and show them . they would still have there ears closed..

  • The words of God in the Qurran are just the same as 1400 years ago because God has promised to preserve the Qurran till the end of time.

    So keep lying David!!!

  • I have a feeling that David is paid to put dirt on Islam and cause confusions among Muslims, Jews and Christians by his lies.

  • David has no shame seriously he is just making christianity look bad..Brother Adnan Excellent jod done!!

  • david you filthy man the earliest sources don't have to be AUTHENTIC because of their early date. Haven't you learned from ure debate with Bassam? There is a difference between "early and true" and "early and false". Just because something is EARLY doesn't make it true you deceptive filthy man

  • muslim9x9x David is a man who does not learn from his previous debates. He simply blocks out the rebuttal periods and carries on with his prepared script.

I think David has an Agenda to deceive the Christian audience. He spreads this falsehood in the disguise of a 'debate'.

By hosting a debate he acquires fame and also makes his arguments more believable to those who are Christian.

I have studied the liked of him for years.
