Whenever I encountered rare enemy I haven't seen before, I saved the game and then fought it. I don't remember all rare enemies I lost to before returning the favor.

I grabbed this game for the PC. Its pretty addicting. I'm close to the end of disk 1, do the guild tasks transfer over to disk 2?

Yes, but some quests don't. There's a total of 42 quests that can be done on disc 1 (360 version). I do not know if PC version had any extra quests added.

You can only change Rush's weapons your other party members will ask for any items found and upgrade them over time ( they will take items after a battle is finished and eventually upgrade) if you have the PC version you can edit the ini file and have complete control over your unions items. There is no best form ( i tend to switch depending on which enemy i face) just read the description and go by that. The best weapons I believe can be obtained by crafting/upgrading

By changing the game's data that is possible. People on PC version already have stuff you can't get otherwise in the game, like the Seven as your party members

@SuicideDevil: Hi mate... problem is I'm playing on PC, I have an old school 17'' CRT monitor and my computer is kinda stone age also, P4 2.8Ghz. To make it worst I'm using a generic keypad so I don't even see the colored circle closing in and the colored button icons that you get on the XBox controller, just grey directional icons which are hardly distinguishable. I've already tried assigning different buttons to try increasing my reaction time but it seems like mission impossible :(

Is it just me or the combos are impossible to trigger? I keep trying to press the button as fast as humanly possible and I end up always being too late. The only way I can see it being possible is by pressing the corresponding key before the warning even appears so I reckon the keys are related to the characters or their special moves? Maybe you guys can shed some light on this. Thnx! : )

Have you got auto trigger enabled? Go to Config; System; Critical Triggers and make sure you set all of them to manual. The response time for the trigger varies from half to 2 seconds so its more than enough time. Remember its when the white circle gets the button when you press it.

Swords = A

Bludgeoning weapons = X

Staffs/Poles = B

Spears/Polearms/2 handed axes = Y

Single axes = RT

@SuicideDevil: Thank you very much mate. I had already read somewhere that the triggers were related to the weapon equiped but I couldn't find a list sorting them all out. As for the triggers I have them set to manual but, after seeing this and other videos, I've realized that there seems to be much more time to press the buttons here than when I'm playing. I almost don't see the circle closing in, I wonder if it could be due to excessive frameskipping?

The only things I can think of to help you is setting your scan rate correctly, for example I have a 37" 1080p and also a 22" 1080p monitor that I play on, for each I set the dashboard scan rate at 1080p.

Also try disconnecting the internet cable / wireless USB as the internet sometimes slows down the game due to a bounce of all the graphics around satellites.

Obviously the bigger the TV the easier it is to see the circle hitting the trigger button

This can be played with a Keyboard and Mouse on PC, but the default options for the mouse are just completely messed up, fortantly you can change them but in honesty you don't need a mouse at all, just a keyboard.

He getting hawkarang depends on how you told him to build up his progress (when he asks about mystic, or combat). Cerulean Rain is just as badass, though.

Def getting this on PC next week. Switching to Jap cause the English dialogue makes me cringe. Also looks like the 360 is struggling to maintain frames or is it just me?

XBOX360 - Even if the game is installed to HDD, there are times in battle when frame rate skips.

I don't know how it'll turn out on PC, though. That version does some some interesting things (leader limit removed, japanese/english VA, fast mode in battle, and some others), but it's not good enough reasons for me to buy it for PC.

Not really. Majority of them sell for very little. The stuff you get from enemies is mostly used for upgrading your own equipment, and sometimes your party members will ask to keep some loot after battle ends.

In some shop you'll also be able to create equipment from the stuff you get from enemies.
