eh of all engine u choose an audi S2 turbo? LOL 169 kW hmmm good luck beating a LS1, 227kW minimum, and over 400kW for supercharged versions in stock form, and alot more torque, and alot more potential, with alot more after market parts.

ok so i watched some audi s2 turbo videos, nothing too special, u just can't compare a 5.7L to a 2.2L, yes u get some nippy audi s2's, but thats about it, u drop a LS1 into a audi S2 and watch it fly, theres a reason why theres not many audi s2 videos or why u don't hear about the engine, if someone was after a small displacement engine to boost power theyd go for somethin like a 4B11T or a 3SGTE.LS1 will produce more stock power, more aftermarket power, more torque, and a much better power band

well the audi s2's are very rare..most of them are in germany...iv'e only seen 1 audi s2 in US..and about the LS1 engine..i don't know much about it but it's a beast too :)

thats the problem with rare engines theres not many aftermarket parts for them, i still think LS1 in anything = winner, not saying ur s2 engine is bad, there are many good engines, but you just can't compete with a 5.7L v8 with many aftermarket parts. the engines light too.

Ya, especially when you put an all aluminum engine in place of an iron one. The LS swaps I've seen are actually lighter up front than a stocker. But don't let me confuse you with facts.

mmmm nar id rather still pitch in, it aint everyday that someone drops tha LS1 in, you should try the 2JZ GTE, got a friend setting that up in a E30 shell

yeh he was originally planning on putting a different Straight 6 in but since he brother sold him the busted up supra for cheap he just dropped that in the shell

nar he wants it to be a suprise till its finished, but ive sneaked a peak here and there, he has gotten the car repainted lately and the engine should be runnning soon i think.

s50 would be better for turbo, but ls1 is na power and cheaper than getting a s52/50 and especially a (good) turbo kit.
