Hey I (like many others) am trying to get that SRVish sound...got a 06 Strat deluxe FSR edition with pickups that sound more modern then vintage...any suggestions, anyone? I like the Tex Mex even though many don't but I heard a lot of good things about the Texas specials (and many more)...and yes I know I won't know and feel what I need to know and feel until they're in my Strat. All I want is opinions from experienced players. I use a Vox VT100 and Seymour Duncan twin tube classic. Help!? :)

This guy is so awesome!... One thing I didn't understand, is it a Jaguar inspired stratocaster from the Jaguar car or is it actually a Fender Jaguar guitar? If it is a jaguar why does it look like a Strat and why didn't they make a jaguar car inspired designed strat? If i was makeing it I would have made it the body of a Jaguar guitar, gold plated hardware and a stratocaster style pickup switch instead of alot of switches like a jaguar guitar. So yea lol =)
