It's seriously a pain in the ass getting all those pikmin up there. It took me a whole friggin day just to get that pickle jar lid in pikmin 2 because I had to be careful or else my pikmin would fall in the water and drown

The first time I played this game, I only got 15 parts by Day 30, and of course, failed the game. On my second playthrough, I just barely got all 30 parts in 30 days. Now, I can get all 30 parts in 20 or 21 days.

It's also possible that you had too many on the map, so the last 10 popped out after you put 10 out of 100 up?

If you leave pikmin planted in the ground for too long, after passing the flower stage, they will revert back to the very first stage where you cannot pluck them, and eventually go back to leaf pikmin. I think that's why some pikmin weren't sprouted when you were plucking them out of the ground.

shouldn't u need all parts? i mean u need a certain number to get to the next area, and u wont clear the game unless u kill the final boss...right?

nope you do not need all part to be able to beat the game, but the game is pretty easy so you should be able to get all the parts.

It really depends on how familiar you are with the game. When I first got this game, I would be doing playthroughs like every week, so I know the game and the strategies very well. It is a lot harder than Pikmin 2, since most bosses and enemies in Pikmin 2 are pretty much nothing with purple pikmin. Most of the trouble I have had with the LP is getting used to the notable lagging that occurs when using film set-up.

I am sorry that this game is hard for you, but I never had any problems. I finished this game within 2 days. which where 16 hours of play.

There are 3 different endings in the game. One ending where you don't collect all the necessary parts, one where you collect all the parts, and another ending where you collect all of the necessary parts, but not all of the unnecessary ones. There are 5 unnecessary parts in the game, and you can usually tell what they are based on what Olimar says about them. The UV Lamp, Massage Machine, Nova Blaster, Space Float, and the final part, are the ones you don't need to get the last one.
