  • hey you guys its way cool in what you do in building ships like that out of match sticks its real talent how about the Delta Queen out of match sticks,,shes a piece of history too,,served in ww2 ,,,even though its a paddle wheeler any chance of building that from match sticks,,,

  • The real Titanic was built of matchsticks too. Ya gotta do something with those darn things. Gotta light, anyone?

  • No smoking allowed!

  • Fantastic

  • well wayne i dont know if you remember me but im building the adrea gale and it is within 700-1000 toothpicks of being complete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and post a vid on here of your american star i wanna see it badly thanks =)

  • Congrats! I have a current news vid from Chicago's Channel 7 news with the new American Star featured as a work in progress. But I am having trouble converting it from the HD format to an uploadable format, like a MPG or WMV. Stay tuned...

  • HOW TO GET SAVED FROM HELL and HAVE ETERNAL and EVERLASTING LIFE IN HEAVEN!: visit my channel for link in description.

  • COPY CAT!!!

You copyed pat acton of gladbrook iowa. he is the original. He has been doing it for over 30 years!

  • He works with matchsticks, pretty impressive stuff though. I just focus on ocean liners. A little bit of a narrow scope. Pat does incredible work. Where does he get the time?...

  • So because he has the same hobby as someone else, he's a copycat?

  • There are a lot of people who work with toothpicks, but they build different sftuff and they build it differently. I build ships, others, buid buildings, sculptures, etc. One thing we all have in common is that no one taught us how to do it. It is something you have to develop out of your own device. There is no way to copy anyone.

  • I was talking to tattoogodess85, but yes, you can't really copy anyone in things like this, you're right.

  • why put that stupid vid on here we didn't even see anything and it was over

  • True, short but sweet. I use it for promotions to get exhibits. 5 minutes on GMA can get your boats floating.

  • Gee, & to think I was impressed by a 3 foot long ship I had built from scratch, lol

  • ur a freakin NERD

  • lol. END OF COVERAGE.

  • Wow good job takes time but when you see the full thing its like WOW COOL

  • thanks!

  • This is very impressive! - 25 years? OMG! Do you get paid for it?

  • I do toothpick art classes and get paid that way. That ship above took 8 years. I took my time.

  • Hey lets smash it.Kiding.

  • i wish i add your talent

  • You never know until you try. Just get a box of toothpick and see what you come up with. Maybe theres a toothpick F1 in the near future here on YouTube.

  • how do you build the house out of toothpicks is it hard to do

  • I have been working with toothpicks for about 25 years. So I guess you can get pretty good at it. Like anything else, it takes practice. I am currently working on the SS American Star. You can find more about this ship and the wreck by looking for it here on YouTube.

  • now that will take some time make/build

  • Probably another year before I complete it. But I have 2 exhibits for it where it will be displayed as a work in progress.

  • Oh my God, I love the America Star! So, you're going to paint it blue at the end? It looked REALLY beautiful when she was just plain America, sister ship to the United States. Will be interesting though! Too bad that liner has completely washed up amongst the waves of...that island.

  • I really dont know what to paint it. I like blue. All my liners are black, the same paint configuration. But I have time to decide

  • Oh yeah, I say blue because when the AMERICA became the AMERICA STAR, they painted her hull blue (unless you're talkin' about another A.S.). I'd recommend the liner to be AMERICA before she became the A.S. if you're gonna paint it black :) Great jobs! Great to see another liner looney :D

  • O.o WOW!!!!

    where is that on display

  • Currently, it is on display at the National Musuem of Model Ships in Sadorus Illinios. There is a good chance that it will be on exhibit on the REAL Queen Mary at Long Beach. Keep your toothpicks crossed, that would be a BIG gig.

  • Cool I love it!

  • Thank you very much!

    Wayne

  • That's a amazing

  • Thank you very much, the short clip didn't do it much justice. But thank you again!!!
