Some, (not all), people in the US have a total misconception about how it is in England. A friend of my daughter's in the US said "England is an awful place, there are no hospitals, no Walmart, & they all have to do what our president tells them", & she really believed this to be true. England has everything the US has..dial-less phones, cell phones, iphones, digital cameras, up-to-date cars, cable/satellite tv, hospitals & Walmart, & even those new-fangled things called computers. lol
funny, this daniel reese was suppose to be very rich.....news papers,horse breeding..etc...and then sammy joe inherited all of this and by the 91 reunion she had ran through it all and was broke....
@tonywrestles2 no u r correct most wealthy people from old money....the rockefellers,vanderbuilts,kennedy, think of relationships that way and want their children to marry into famlies that can only grow the family wealth...the only thing is Alexis was not old money..she married a billionare on his death bed and spent the rest of time faking it..
The UK is a very sophisticated country I cannot understand why the movie studios in the US has an image of the UK as 30 years behind, but then again, we in Europe know what goes on In the US than what Americans knows what happened in Europe, I call this plain ignorance.

You would expect it from some low budget production; but surely the producers of Dynasty could have come up with some better film of London than this stock footage from the 1960s. If not it would have been better to have just left it out.
Horses are one of the most expensive things that people can own. They can be a money pit even after the money for the horse is paid as there are ongoing issues. There's no guarantee that they will win, stay health, perform correctly, etc. The costs are very expensive medical, food, shelter, trainers, etc.
If your speaking of TB racehorses, not necissarily. True they are expensive to maintain, feed train ect., however once they hit the breeding shed this is where the studs make their money-the good ones. Storm Cat's stud fee at one time was 250K and he bred about 100 mares a season. No guarantee true but you can still hit a gold mine. I own 5 horses and have my own property so I dont pay for boarding, and hay only in winter. My costs are mostly vet and farrier bills. Manage economically.
it completely sucks that rock hudson's great movie star memory is erased just because he contrated aids..this man is first a man, then a movie star not the aids poster boy, it's so tragic what happened to him, RIP
