Tristania is just not what it used to be anymore. After nearly all members left, it just became a different band with the same name. IMO their last good work was World of Glass, after that their albums were very revetitive and all songs sounded alike

I was there! That fucking useless chick guitarist ruined the set for me. Her playing was shit. Shaky, heavyhanded and then something went wrong with her guitar pedals and she was playing with that awful gainy clean sound for half the set. It was painful!

That said, I think Mariangela's voice is great, but it's not suited to this style. Tristania used to be slow. Melancholic. Beautiful. Now they just sound like they've picked through Lacuna Coil's trash and are using their discarded riffs. Sigh.
