  • 6:12 - David Belle's back looks like the face of a demon

  • When you act like you're the boss because you're the best and you jump...you jump farther than someone else or... No. There's no Big Boss in life. I mean... It isn't the strongest boxer in the world in the ring with gloves who is the strongest person on the street. If he gets knifed...gets shanked...it's finished in two seconds. No one gives a shit to know if you're good or not good or if you trained. So the reality is completely different."

  • What he said about ego is one of the best quotes I have ever heard...

"I noticed with Parkour, ego comes out tremendously. You see. Even I fell prey to it. You're twenty years old. You feel like, when you do a trick, and the other guy goes, 'Pow. Pow.' That you really had the trick. And it's fine when it's fun and you're having a good time with it. But when you start taking it seriously, it's no longer good.

  • nice vids ;) when is part 3 comming? :P

  • 9:33 David Belle is Invincible.

  • @pkgrip lmao he bounced

  • Leave it to the French to perfect the art of running away .

  • Parkour, for me, is all about individuality and expression. It's freedom defined. It's expression, freedom, improvisation, passion, and art. There are no limits, there is only you. It's human reclamation, the natural way, "a means of reclaiming what it means to be a human being. It teaches us to move using the natural methods that we should have learned from infancy. It teaches us to touch the world and interact with it, instead of being sheltered by it." That's why I do parkour.

  • all people who practice parkour should ask them selves. If no one ever saw me do this would i? if you would then you understand the principal of parkour

  • I love the Mess up at 8:48 where David messed up that flip. He meant exactly what he said. All of us are human, we need to set goals and attain them.

  • does anone know where that giat parkour sculpture is?

I'm assuming it's in France but can anyone be more specific.

  • David Belle is the creator and the GOD of parkour !

  • Where is that giant parkour cement block thing?

  • Anyhow, we can keep arguing about fr/pk or we can just do it, lets stop arguing and just do it :P

  • Thank you Napoleon.

  • Im trying to convince my parents to find me lessons for parkour but their answer was why would you want to I showed them a vid but they said they didnt see the point can someone help me out in this argument???? Need some reasons

  • @timothye29 depending on your parents.. you can always say that you like parkour and you want to learn more.

as david belle said: parkour is just like painting your expressing yourself by jumping around.

it gives you a rush and makes you find life more wourth of living.

say that you want to push your strength to the limit, say that you want to train to the top and just keep going.

If that does´nt work you can always find someone nice in your neighborhood or city..

    -sorry for my bad language

  • it's like he's saying what you've always thought, and you think that makes you equals, at least in one thing. but he's david belle, and you're you. the feeling of competition infects even the common ground.

and then it doesn't matter, because the competitive element makes me want to do it and train and achieve the same oneness, which is positive, as long as it is with the knowledge that to be the best i can be, is worth so much more than being better than the guy next to me. few people get that.

  • 667 pessoas fazem parkour e são descolados... 4 pessoas quebraram um osso na primeira tentativa e são cabaços .

  • I have acrophobia :(

  • 3 people cant get off the couch.

  • Arent we traceurs lazy? I mean dont look at it negatively but look at it this way. There is a ladder just around the corner, but the wall seems like we can totally scale it with a step or two. So instead of going around the corner we run up it instead. I like to think that way. LOL. No offense.

  • three people are haters who think that this stuff looks easy. come to a parkour class with me, the amount of hardwork and commitment it takes to put into this sport will tear u apart in the first hour. im sick of parkour haters

  • parkour changed my life it made me feel accomplishment in my self and confidence in my self for once

  • @pergatory090 i now exactly how you feel it because before doing parkour i always felt like i am no good at anything, i had a serious lack of confidence in myself, but know everything has changed...if i can't do something it means i have to train even more

  • :)) hay day

  • когда будет третия часть

  • /watch?v=sV-D96c2cjM&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL dass müsst ihr bei youtube anhengen dann sieht ihr mein geiles vid! thx

  • $%^&%$%&#$# assassins in the making o.o

  • all people than click in ''don't like'' are fats...

  • all people than click in ''don't lke'' are fats...

  • 3 people are fats.

  • this is the ultimate form of physical art. competition has nothing to do with it. its just the passion for what can be accomplished if you can beat away the fear in life. so to say the least, i could have nothing else in life and still maintain happiness if i unleash the full potential of my own human body.

  • coming from a skating background my entire life, i found it really interesting to start seeing parkour guys showing up on the streets - navigating the city with different styles in creative ways, with friends, using the environment to express themselves. much respect to all you parkour guys (haven't seen any girls ripping it up yet) great feats of human ingenuity. keep it up.

  • this makes me wish i lived in a city area.

  • 3:10 Achievement Unlocked: Widest Gap

  • ia til une certaine reception a avoir?

  • i wouldent want to play tag with this guy :)

  • QUESTION whats that big rock thing there on

  • @Jackoman110 ...a boulder

  • Besides, competition may cause people to train parkour for the wrong reasons, and it may (and have) caused people to get injured. Competition is for your own ego, for people to recognize you.

Also, we're all good at diffrent things. NO ONE can be perfect in all areas in parkour and life. It's simply impossible. And even if we could, it would, like anything else in life, temporary. There are no masters. Everything is temporary, you, parkour, me, the whole world. Being best is a fantasy.

  • @BlacksVideos That's actually how I feel about Martial Arts one could never be a master unless they were able to learn every aspect of each & every fighting style. Even if he or she did somehow do this it would only last for a short moment because there's always new unique styles being created weather it's known to the world or not.

  • do something about it and make a difference, or just complain about parkour becoming recognized in competitions and let it die because no one understands it anymore.

  • parkour will not be lost because of something like a competition. all this is doing is bringing practitioners together in way that hasnt been done before for us. Parkour is for everyone. If people see these competitions and it inspires them to train in parkour then that is good. if they dont understand what its truly about then it needs to be our mission to fix that problem. parkour has grown with the media and always will, its our job to send our message through it correctly. so we could

  • the way i see it, competition in parkour isnt a problem. people like ryan doyle or others who share the same insight on this realize that the competition doesnt mean its all about whos the best or who can do this better. all it is a get together and to have fun doing what we love. So what its called a competition? its a way to spread parkour through out the world. Of course there are gonna be people who take it the wrong way but the ones who really understand are the ones we are reaching out to

  • @spade045

If it only was about fun - why not have a normal jam? - but but at a jam there are no cameras or crowds of spectators.Competition is in the human nature. Our desire to impress one’s peers (especially one's opposite sex) is both universal and strong, and often unconscious, as a result of our evolution. Parkour is all about improving yourself. If you can't stand agianst the drive to impress other you're not strong, and you're not having our even aiming for control.

    Not PK/FR.

  • @BlacksVideos Having training sessions with pk/fr is fun, but people also compete alot, just pure for the fun of it, also to learn and see from others, and improve your own tricks / skills with it, I'm not sure if apex movement is like this, to me, at start, apex movement seemed more competitive just to show off like i'm the best etc... But watching it more I realised people joining in on apex movement events really do it for fun, and to learn and observe others

  • @BlacksVideos I'm Fairly new to Parkour but i love the Philosophy and thought's of David Belle , I'm a beginner in Parkour and really love this! and my body response good to this kind of training and insight! i also have set goal's with martial art's all for protecting evryone and for my own goals :), You really find yourself in Parkour and philosophy of David Belle and Bruce Lee! they are wonderfull people how they get other's intressted in their way of life and parkour/martial art's!

  • @spade045 If competition is for reaching out to people, why does it feature the "professional" athletes instead of the people they're supposedly reaching out to? Why aren't they the ones doing the parkour?

  • I wonder when parkour can be understood by people properly. It is not recklessness, it is controlled movements. Competition is bad because people will be doing parkour for no meaning.

  • see my friends take parkour as a competition and i tell them that it is not a competition but they are still cocky :(

  • whats the name of that song before the nina simone song?

  • The part 1 is much better

  • We may never. never, forget this guy, who trained so hard, for the only sport, that opens your mind, free your spirit, and let you feel like you can handle it all. David Belle is the god of this sport. We can't forget him.

  • i am doing parkour to but i am not so good

  • That's the real spiderman

  • it seems like parkour is 50% guts 40% training and 10% strength =P

  • @mrprankster911 all in all, parkour is 100% mental training

  • great philosophy outlook

but whatever, this guy is still the parkour's god :D

  • I tried doing this in Dhaka City and a police officer gave me a ticket, I said why? You don't have a license to do so? =P

  • If you REALLY think you can run threw a gungle?? The I wanna see you escape from a

    tatorial Baboon??

  • Does anyone know the name of soundtracks of this video??

  • Parkour was invented by the french military in the 1700s designed to escape quickly and safely

  • i would love tu learn from him i du some of my own stunts just tuday i jumped a bridge and it waz amazing i hope tu learn more about him and parkour i lik this vid

  • @fencingperson the goal of the parkour roll is to keep your torso safe by rolling from either your left or right shoulder to the opposite hip. if you can't do it there are tutorial videos on youtube from expert village

  • @TheJohnPhenomenon actually, its more to keep your ankles and knees safe.

  • It is all about the REAL parkour!

  • What name the is music of piano?

  • HARDCORE PARKOUR

  • i have a question how can u roll without bouncing on your back its painful and i dont know how to fix it any suggestions?

  • @fencingperson just keep on practicing. Try different methods. You'll get it

  • parkour's one very intresting err,, sport! love it!

  • beautyful

  • I've seen Belle run before, but this is the first time I've heard him speak with regards to his personal philosophy on life. The man is brilliant inside and out. I'm fascinated by how, even when he lands, Belle's feet never seem to touch the ground.

    oodles of respect.

  • inspiring.......

  • jespere etre comme vous un jour

  • Does David Belle do gymnastics or does he just go for it?

    Please answer.

  • @ProphaneSnipes u can see his muscles in this video & he is Physical education too

  • so you know your freerunning and accidently fall corr happens to me all the time -_-

  • This stuff is so breathtaking! Anybody know the name of the second song?

  • @chgojack1 ''Nina Simone - Feeling good''

    Says so in the info

  • i wish i could do this

  • I am tingling... This is a wonderful video. David Belle is the shiz.

  • where is that statue thing they're playing on?

  • What's the song's name and band??

  • I'd give my left arm to meet David Belle, he's awesome. Though once I met him I'd ask to borrow his left arm...

  • wo0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0 _!!!!!!

  • what is that wall thing they are practicing on ? was it made just for them or is it for something else and they just use it ?

  • @sandman99and9

It's a sculpture in a park near paris. I went there one day, and I jumped over the same fence as in 3:49 because the park had closed and I couldn't do differently... Anyway, this giant wall is supposed to be art, wasn't made specialy for David Belle, but it is very ugly lol

  • @Pikminaregreat Really?

  • fuck parkour or freerunning competitions..i hate them.Yea some people are better than others but you dont have to compete at everything!!..these guys are so fucking right..

  • @fermerwuvu and i'm so happy that a practice like this endorses this kind of philosopy. this is really the best, and totally what i stand for. it really is right for the practice that helps the most freedom has a philosophy of support and betterment. a practice like this is very humbling, and we are there to support each other.

  • nice!

  • whats the first song called

  • Parkour isn't supposed to be about competition. It's like David Belle says, It's all about learning about yourself, setting and attaining goals, getting in shape, etc. The only reason that it's competitive now is because someone decided they could make money off it.

  • I think every one who practice parkour should have seen this...the pure truth about parkour...David Belle is really an great inspiration...i have massive respect for him!

  • ok shit im good at parkour but not that good thats some insane parkour :O

  • the second song sucks compared to the michae buble version

  • 1:38 - 2:00 = How To Rape

  • heh...just like bruce lee

  • Competition is a joke.

  • @MckMick

I agree.. You can't have competition in freerunning/parkour because it's not just about doing physical movements. It's about feelings happy, setting goals & attaining them, showing courage, being alive, learning more about yourself, helping people and show humility, training for your own improvement etc.. and you can't decide who does that the best way.

If it's just about physical movements I wouldn't call it parkour or freerunning.

  • @ParkourFreerunWorld i agree with what your saying but at the same time maybe competition is the goal which some people set and that is what makes them happy? Also part of me feels that competitions can be good as they will make people train a lot harder in order to perform well, another good thing is it advertises the art to everyone, so i think its a very two sided arguement, i think its more the person than the art? what do you think just a few ideas?

  • the best video...

  • the reason i was going to give up was wen i was 14 i suffered a fractured femur, i thought i was done for good now that im 16 im still having pain i am going for therapy soon and i am hoping to get better although no matter the outcome im not giving up like you said.

  • He's living Bruce Lee's dream.......thatz watz up.

  • music nice! david belle man))

  • Those are the best athletes in the whole world.

  • everything from 3:50 looks sooo fun

  • were do u guys practice at. This stuff is amazing!

  • 6:14 results of hard training.

You can't get this muscles with only doing flipps.

David is the man his Flow is amazing

  • At 3:53 whats that structure called and where is it? It looks so awesome!!!

  • everything about this video, the words, the tone, the free spirit attitude, everything, is just pure... david inspires me the more I watch him. -keep running, feel the flow, and don't look back.

  • David Belle is awesome !!

  • 6:13.... unbelieveable

  • 3:50 is awsome!

  • Damn he has such precision its amazing, but he must train everyday

  • @stfuBUDDY he does train everyday, he said that in an interview

  • David Belle makes it so fuckin' easy! I noticed in Part I he wasn't allowed near real buildings in the United States. He ended up having to do an "easy" course on a set that was utterly fake. Well I'm a yank and I RESENT the fact that you have to go to Europe for a REAL version of gymnastics with buildings (like the French council slabs)!

  • @1:37 where can i get the full video of this??? I really wanna learn it and i think its important to start the workouts... If any1 know a website where i can learn it pls let me know cause no1 in my country knows about this and i don't know any1 who can teach me..

  • @luckyirfaan find it in your brain.....hahahaha....serve you right

  • not as good as the first one but still pure insanity

  • 3:53 He makes a significantly high vault look effortless... Inspiring.

  • david is the best !!

  • 9:35...is it just me but he bounced?!? :O

  • @eggdad i think he did o.O

  • @teck22a Well it makes the vid more awsome then it already is(:

  • @eggdad the man is elastic steel :)

  • @MatthewGoodRox Yes he is(:

  • this man is the reason i practice free running . Daviv Belle is amazing and i cant imagine wat it must feel like to be able to do all that he does

  • that's pure madness. Why did he risk his life for a stupid "Yes!" In his head. I see no reason for such action. All he need for the "efficient movement" he can and now he is just exaggerating .I mean, with a backflip over a fence? There are much more "efficient" techniques.

Well, if it makes it fun.

Hoppe he's in 10 years still alive ;)

    4/5

    sorry for my bad englisch^^

  • @110levi more efficeint ways to get over the fence hmm like run to the the nearest hardware store and getting a ladder running back setting up the ladder climbing over and then pull the ladder over to the next fence and do the same thing?

  • David Belle is the most inteligent man, i know. He's epic!

  • i agree with all who have something good to say. this man is VERY inspiring.

  • this guy is extreme good

  • 7:38 the name of this video

  • man i got inspired too bad my leg is all jacked but when its healed ima practice

  • Totally Epic.

    Parkour is my life.

  • I wish my body could still do this sort of athletic stuff...

  • I don't know why, but nobody's movement catches my eye like David Belles, nobody's. If humans were birds, nobody would be flying except for this man and a rapidly growing group of others. Freedom.

  • Wauw the motivation is high in this guy :)

what he says really hits your spirith he's amazing

  • wut is that big stone place called? are there more than 1 in the world?

  • i want him to train me :O ha

  • woooow

  • shiat imgaine how easy who could run from cops and that!

  • this was pretty boring compared to the first vid..... and btw i do the sport, im part of the only parkour youth academy in scotland.

  • @xXChArDaZoRXx wait, wait, wait, hold the phone .... there is a parkour youth academy in scotland? I am not trying to make fun of you, and I'm sure it must rock to go there, but that is really weird.

  • @amarmirza08 yeah lol its really good and its very hard lol.. where do you live???

  • What a legacy, David Belle and his friends, his dad, people who instilled these things into him, I can't believe the change they have brought to the world. In my life alone, the change is immense, and I see it changing peoples lives, freeing people, finally making them smile after so much hurt. Autonomy. People are finally waking up. This is a new age for sure, things will be changing even more dramatically in the near future. Spread the word, carry the legacy onward. Freedom 4 Ever. -Victor L.

  • very well said.

  • @gc5484 well said, i have tried at most sports and i am decent at a few but parkour i have tried and it is very challenging but i think i have found something i could be very good at its opened up a new future and i hope to be as good as david one day i have him to thank for keeping my hopes high and never giving up. good luck everyone and your comment is very true i like it.

  • REALLY well put together. Man.

  • where is that parkour monument?

  • Lisses, France.

  • holy crap this guy at 3:49 got some jumping power o_O

  • Nina Simone - Feeling good

  • A great tracuer, a great philosopher too. More vids on his talks should be posted!

  • @in1pieces agreed!!!

  • david belle is amazing, but, once he learns how to do the double jump trick...

    lol
