i gave this a 1 star, not cause of person who posted it but because the announcers a nutjob. we got thumped last time he says lol... hmm 17-10 is not a thumping. besides talent vs talent we shudda won that one in 05 but, unfortunately we didnt lol.
The score in 05 was much closer than it really felt. Penn State dominated the whole game. At first Ohio state waas up 3-0 then 7-3 then 14-3 then 14-10 then 17-10.
Exactly, this is a case where 28-6 is closer than 17-10. In 2005 we really blew the Buckeyes off the field, we smothered their offense, even though Troy Smith lucked out with that late 2nd quarter TD run (but still wasn't enough to take the lead), and the only thing their offense produced without pure luck was a field goal. We dominated in every aspect except the scoreboard. But in 2006, two late pick sixes break open a close game that we led 3-0 at halftime, and the final score is 28-6.
It doesn't matter how close or how far away it was. You're just talking a bunch of bullshit.
What matters is who wins, and who loses. And the Buckeyes and Lions are tied all-time. So just quit wasting your time trying to make up excuses for why your team lost by 20 points.
I'm not saying that Ohio State lost. I'm just saying that it wasn't a cakewalk like you seem to think it is. Had that pass not been intercepted and had Brian Robiskie not caught that pass, it would have been a different game. I'm just saying that the 2006 game was a great game until Penn State imploded in the last two minutes of the game. Saying what happened is not an excuse, PSU lost, I know, but you're a massive homer if you think it was as much of a wipeout as the 28-6 score suggests.
Are you serious? Ohio State was never in that game in 2005, that was an absolute drubbing in every way except the scoreboard. The Buckeyes were no more in that game than they were in the '94 game where we led 56-0 at halftime. You're actually lucky the score wasn't much, much worse. It could have easily have been 24-3, or even 31-3.
"last time ohio state went to happy valley they got thumped"... they lost by 7 in 05 how is that a thump?????

Translation: You gave this a 1 because you're a bitter Penn State fan.
What a tool. 5/5 to counter.

Exactly.

This was as much a blowout in OSU's favor as the 2005 game was in PSU's favor. That 2005 game wasn't a typical 17-10 game.
