I don't know if that is any hi-fi but its rated at 45W RMS, the speakers have a 10 inch sub, a ~4 inch mid and a 2 inch tweeter... the volume goes from 0 to 10 and I guarantee you 3 is really loud... we love that system!

Surround sound audio cards, 5.1 systems, subs, more power and more brands in the market. IMO, that's a huge advancement. @danterakin i would say the placement is very good, its like the subs are helping each other drop lower! i've got a video up on here of my single z-2300 and the sub hits hard for what it is because i found the best position for it. it hits harder than my kicker c8 which proves the amp, box, and positioning are what matter!

Jesus dude, for the almost $500 you spent on those for sets of speakers you could have bought a badass Klipsche powered 10" and some better highs. I have the z-2300's and they're great, but ultimately they are still computer speakers.
@MMMNUMNUMS I only paid $120 for 4 sets in which I RMA 2 sets and kept 2 spare sets of speakers. I made almost $500 selling all of them. Fuck home powered subs, I'm doing car subs in my house now. You should see my 2 10W7's with a PDX-1.1000.

@danterakin if u used a headphone splitter to divide teh signal into all four logitehs, then its loudness is going to be exactly the same as a single one.
when u split singla into 2, the halved signal carries 3db less. therefor they will sound the same loudness when u play em together, as one.
@kboy3141 actually multiple logitech z-2300s via a headphone splitter IS louder than one due to the very generous range they give you on the volume control pod.

I know, already assembled a z-5500, and several people have said that the z-2300 plays more! My opinion is that the 5500 are louder a little stronger but the 2300 ... His unique sound is never heard something so soft and strong at the same time, only those who really have to know how hard he plays. Within the two sub SPL home teachers are much the same ... it is indisputable

@GhostFire218 I used 2 splitters and there is no lose of quality because all it is is signal to the controllers. I tested the difference if one was plug str8 into a jack and if 2 was plug and it was the exact same output. My subs aint really in a room because it is in a 2nd enclosure because its in a bookcase. IDK look at the vid again and its only coming out one direction.

@Blayros yeah but in my cause it doesn't work like that. I would separate them but no point because I wasn't going to keep them and they were within its own enclosure in my bookcase next to my computer. Everything comes out towards the person sitting at the desk since its within a 2nd enclosure.
@danterakin bass isn't directional ;) so it doesn't matter what way the actual speaker unit is faced but the whole sound and from the subwoofer should be tested before placing a sub or two or three etc. :)
but hey if you sold them then you don't have the problem..... but for future setups.... take the time to place your sub correctly according to the room and listening spot.... You'll get so much more out of your system ;)
@Blayros you wouldn't believe how loud and deep my single z-2300 sub is under my bed on the side of my room nearest the outside wall of the house. put it on the other side of the room by the interior wall by but not under my bed and its sounds 9 million times worse! heck, even my single z-4 sub hit HARD in the magic sweetspot!

@1JasonMraz hell yea and it sounds closer to the actual box tuning (38hz) - a single z-2300 peaks at 45hz in the acoustic sweetspot of the room, otherwise 64hz lol...

the sound dont get higher if you have 4 z2300 then just 1? you could place the speekers around in your room to make the sound too spread more but its just as loud as 1 z2300

@danterakin if u used a headphone splitter to divide teh signal into all four logitehs, then its loudness is going to be exactly the same as a single one.
when u split singla into 2, the halved signal carries 3db less. therefor they will sound the same loudness when u play em together, as one.

@JrSmet I can spread them around the room to get optimal spl in one spot but I wasn't going to have it set up at that spot forever and 4 is for sure louder than 1 no matter what way you place it.

Man, I have a z-2300, and already I think my playing inhuman, now imagine 4 .... my god the sky should be the best feeling in the room to have this ... I know that is a strong one day but I also have four in my room. and I know that goes totally worth it. congratulations for making the best investment .. and the Z-5500 come splashing down the front! :)

I know, already assembled a z-5500, and several people have said that the z-2300 plays more! My opinion is that the 5500 are louder a little stronger but the 2300 ... His unique sound is never heard something so soft and strong at the same time, only those who really have to know how hard he plays. Within the two sub SPL home teachers are much the same ... it is indisputable

but a question, how do you have linked 4 controllers to the pc? i have a multi jack but i think if i use 4 of multi jack grip i will lose many quality

@GhostFire218 I used 2 splitters and there is no lose of quality because all it is is signal to the controllers. I tested the difference if one was plug str8 into a jack and if 2 was plug and it was the exact same output. My subs aint really in a room because it is in a 2nd enclosure because its in a bookcase. IDK look at the vid again and its only coming out one direction.

@Blayros yeah but in my cause it doesn't work like that. I would separate them but no point because I wasn't going to keep them and they were within its own enclosure in my bookcase next to my computer. Everything comes out towards the person sitting at the desk since its within a 2nd enclosure.

@danterakin bass isn't directional ;) so it doesn't matter what way the actual speaker unit is faced but the whole sound and from the subwoofer should be tested before placing a sub or two or three etc. :)
but hey if you sold them then you don't have the problem..... but for future setups.... take the time to place your sub correctly according to the room and listening spot.... You'll get so much more out of your system ;)

@Blayros you wouldn't believe how loud and deep my single z-2300 sub is under my bed on the side of my room nearest the outside wall of the house. put it on the other side of the room by the interior wall by but not under my bed and its sounds 9 million times worse! heck, even my single z-4 sub hit HARD in the magic sweetspot!

Make a custom big box for it and tune it at around 35hz and it'll SLAP! and plus you can still attach the amps at the back of the box. And mabye try connecting one volume controller to all?

@noname69690 Z-5500 is better for surround sound but z-2300's whoop on SPL. A single Z-2300 sub sounds better and hits better than a z-5500 sub in my opinion.
