@Kimidori81 I don't see your point in badbouthing Utada Hikaru, she's an incredible artist who changed the whole jmusic scene. She writes her own music and has always stayed clear of the whole idol scene and been true to herself. Have you even seen a Hikki live performance or know any of her songs ? Kaori Oda is a talented singer but Japan has a lot of talented female and male artists (Shiina ringo, Ken Hirai, Jun Shibata etc) who are not as famous as JE groupss or Momusu and AKB48.

Utada changed the whole jmusic scene??? She's that great? Is she as good as Yuki Kajiura for example? O_O How many J artists do u know anyway? I am aware she writes her own music, BUT there are LOTS of japanese artists who writes their own songs as well, not only ur favorite Utada. Actually, I compared Kaori to Utada in terms of voice quality. I know there are many good singers in Japan, but Kaori's voice is powerful and has lots of emotion, thats where Utada is inferior to.

@Kimidori81 Yes, when Utada came into the scene in the late 90's people were use to artists like Ayumi or idols like Momusu and Matsuda Seiko. Many japanese artists themselves mention Hikki as a influental artist. And comparing voices, they have completely different voices Hikki has a vibrato/falsetto like her mother Fuji Keiko a famous enka singer. I know a lot of japanese artist from more indie bands/singers(Oku Hanako) to mainstream(Perfume, Capsule) Hikkis' voice suffered a lot after surgery

She mightve changed something, but for me its still not a reason to say Utada changed the WHOLE music scene, maybe only the pop scene, which i am not a big fan of. Utada may have a different voice compared to most j artist (high pitched) but i believe (blame my ears) that her voice wavers from the tune, ok maybe its because of the surgery. Sorry if I badmouth her, but there are lots of great artists in japan who sells just a fraction of her, I will never understand...

Hikki's voice suffered a lot after a botched surgery (on comparisons of Utada and Yuki Kajiura, again different genres it's like comparing Hirano Aya with Shiina Ringo

I felt like something was special about the ending song to the anime series Baccano. The lyrics are so thoughtful and feel powerful. I don't get why the anime occasionally insert songs that are very different from the flow of the rest of the show. Baccano is a hectic, fun work of art. The composer of this song is my absolute favorite modern day composer. Yuki Kajiura composed the song and Kaori Oda did a wonderful job bringing it to life.

Oh and yes Baccano is an amazing anime. Come on Prohibition New York City + The Mafia + Alchemy? It equals an amazing, very orginal, story line and awesome anime, manga, and light novels. ^_^
