The American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) has not stepped up and agreed with the National Academy of Science (two years later) by acknowledging that water fluoridation will cause dental fluorosis but then tired to minimize the impact by calling the permanent scaring of the enamel "cosmetic".

My daughter has had 4 blood tests done now, they're still high after 11 months of trying to reduce them and cutting out everything we know that contains fluoride. Tea was her major problem but it's an almost impossible task. Mandatory fluoridation is about to be passed for Queensland Australia - we're the last State un-fluoridated, so don't know what she's going to eat or drink when that happens.

The well known antidote to F poisoning is calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, iodine and selenium (200 mcg adult). My thought is that you should dramatically increase distilled water intake and exercise hours each day to produce sweat and lift weights to remodel bone. When blood F remains high and diet is low then the F is being mobilized from bone stores. The way to improve this is nutrients as noted and water, sweat and exercise. Let me know. Dave

Thanks David, she's doing the first 3, selenium tablets are hard to get in Oz on their own, have to order from Usana. Haven't tried Iodine though. Can't afford an RO filter yet, but will HAVE to get one soon. We have 4 pathology proven people in this un-fluoridated town - that we know of for sure - ALL with high fluoride levels.

Thinking I would be safe going with composite fillings. They were reluctant to tell me the filling material contained time realease flouride until they were done since I was curious and asked what those things were they looked like little slivers they put into the prep area. The dentist had no ideal how long it would take them to disapate. I Did some investigating and I know they used fuji 9, one type of filler. Does anyone know if those time realease fillings will eventually fully disapate?

Wrong advice if you are boiling because of excess fluoride and arsenic. Boiling only makes it worse. The only reliable way to remove fluoride is through distillation or deionization.

Distillation turns water to steam and condenses it back to water. As Cat Stevens sang "Snowmen live in the sea". Water from the ocean turns into vapor and returns to earth as pure water. Distillation does this in a small device using a heat source such as electricity.

In that case the disproportionate harm hydrofluosilicic acid causes to Black children might be of concern. Masters found a 6 fold increase in blood lead levels in Black children where this product was used to fluoridate public drinking water and there was any other potential source of lead exposure such as older housing. That makes fluoridation a crime in my opinion. High blood lead levels in children are associated with lower IQ, violent crime, and learning disorders.

Buy a Reverse Osmosis Water filter. It removes all fluoride - will only cost you $600 - $1000 for a good one!!! Not a great price to pay for the sake of some one else's teeth...is it??? And for every liter of fluoride free water you get, four liters of water with concentrated fluoride in it will go down your drain and back into the environment. Saving one person from one decayed tooth per year has got to be worth that - don't you think?

What I have asked the reverse Osmosis people to do is show me the results of RO water at the end of the projected life of the membranes. After 12 years none have given me an answer.

I suspect from others studies that it will be well above the minimum risk levels. They always want to show the results starting with 8 PPM lowering it 80% but that is not the same as starting with 1 and then trying to lower that 90%. Lets face it. The cost of removing fluoride greatly exceeds the cost of adding it.

Saliva is good. if you have decay problems research has found iodine seemed to be a much better bug killer than fluoride. I also recommend Baking Soda because ti neutralizes acid. Tooth decay is sugar turned to acid and the acid dissolves enamel. Kill the germs and don't eat sugar and presto you've got a lifetime of no decay.

You don't need anything besides you own saliva to brush with. Get a brush and scrub your gums many times a day. No poison needed for that kind of care. Just get in there and scrub off the scum and you'll feel clean. If you feel you need something more just stop in the kitchen and use 50% salt and 50% baking soda for a refreshing paste. it is old and it is safe and it is good.

make a mixture of the soda and salt. Wet the brush and dip it in the mixture. The powder sticks to the brush and you can carry this to the mouth and work it into the gums with a soft brush. Very effective and fresh breath.

This is raw untreated hazardous waste from the phosphate fertilizer mining industry pollution scrubber system that is highly contaminated with arsenic, lead and a whole host of other heavy metals. Please note the scale of the water consumption is a log scale. 1, 10. 100 and not 1,2,3 so it compresses the high side enormously. A huge number of people will be overdosed according to the generous reference dose (RfD) of the EPA. Dr. Thiessen explains that there are other subsets of the population who will be harmed at substantially below the EPA RfD.
