  • I actually felt bad for Brian in a strange way. This is probably the most emotional scene in the first season.

  • This moment is very powerful. On one end, you can tell that even in his sick, fucked up existence, Brian cares for Dexter and wants what he thinks is best for both of them. Even though he says he has no feelings, he obviously cares for Brian too. And as Dexter said, he killed the only person (besides Harry) that could see him for who he actually was. On the other end, he had to protect Debra whom he also cares about, and many other people that could have died.

  • Wish they wpuldve killed deb and him and brian would be a duo

  • Poor Brian

  • So it turns out Harrison is just the reincarnation of Rudy

  • you missed the bit where dexter falls to the corner and cries..... best part !

  • @wirra436 yeah one thing i liked about that part besides being a sad scene is the music played i can't find it anywhere i swear if there was a jeopardy game of dexter the million dollar question would be "what's the song that's played in the scenes where dexter kills his brother, where dexter returns to the hotel after beating santos jimenez, and where dexter kills cole harmon"

another soundtrack i really want to find is the one played in dexter's dream where deb kills him

  • BROTHERS TO THE END

  • I cried at this scene. Seriously.

  • I was watching the new twilight film because my friend dragged me along. I kind of just sat there and then Christian Camargo came on the screen and all I could think was 'Fuck Edward and Bella, IT'S BRIAN MOSER!!'

  • Easily the best season ever (first season). Fucking amazing

  • He is dead. He's just like Dexter's father, a soul.

  • @JordanJerichoGuitar Not even a soul, just a figment in his head. After all, he is a crazy serial killer...

  • How many of you came to make sure Brian died after seeing season 6 episode 6?

  • @Pieman2005 I knew he was dead. Dexter's dark passenger took that form after he killed Nick, then he turned back to Harry after he got rid of Brian.

  • @FrigidAxe Harry's actually the mental form of "The Code". He's Dexter's good side. Dexter's dark passanger never truly took a mental form until now. Brian Moser is now officially Dexter's dark passanger's mental form.

  • @TheInstantClassic1 Then Dexter ran him over and Harry came back. In the next episode.

  • He's back.

  • The first series is so much better than the first book. I read the book and loved it to bits, but this series has so much more distorted intimacy that it has to be considered superior, in my opinion. It's such a rare thing to see something like that.

  • Yeah I felt sorry for Brian, he didn't have the privileged upbringing that Dexter had. The poor guy didn't have anyone. Not saying that justifies killing innocent people, but I felt bad that he had to be six years old and watch his movie chainsawed into pieces. Then be labeled as a fucked up kid, that nobody wanted to adopt.

  • Best scene and very sad

  • Rudy:"We're brothers! That means that I'll probably be a returning character in this series!"

    Dexter: "...Not exactly."

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic Wrong. Latest episode that on tonight! xD

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic NOT IF YOU WATCHED TODAY'S EPISODE OF DEXTER

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic Its funny cause he actually is a returning character from the last episode

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic actually he will be returning in the next episode

  • @KollaDudurin Because this wasn't posted a month ago.

  • @JrvUnleashedMusic haha did you watch the last episode?

  • @xAtomicMuffin1337

    Yes. Cannot wait for Sunday.

  • Comment removed

  • Man i actually felt sorry for him. He is a damn good actor

  • Every time I watch Season 1, this scene puts me in a funk. Utterly depressing but gloriously poignant.

  • Biney could have helped Dexter get free of the code, and start having fun and just killing randomly -- who wouldn't want that?

  • There's just 1 thing I don't get, how did the police find Rudy/Brian in the first place ?

  • @SSBandSMTfan Most likely an anonymous tip left by Dexter or maybe Dexter subtly suggested they go search his house again for clues or something. Because wasn't Dexter the one who convinced the police that Brian had committed suicide rather than being murdered? I could be wrong.

  • @chapacoka I guess you're right, thanks

  • @SSBandSMTfan He kidnapped deb on the boat then dexter was trackin em becuz rudy was leavin clues..

  • здесь я плакаль :"С

  • Actually I think that they made a hash of this scene. It was too rushed and forced.

I mean they could of made a whole episode just in this scene alone. Because Dexter is understandably conflicted with the need to protect his sister and the fact that his victim is his long lost brother. this scene could have been a tour-de-force of T.V if they had of made a full episode of this scene. It was too premature to get rid of Brian anyway. Their paths should cross when they end the series for good.

  • What kills me is at 2:20, where the corner of Brian's mouth tilts downward. So sad.

  • I hate how Dexter thinks he's a monster. It's obvious he cares about people

  • this is so sad..

  • i love how he says "I Know That!!" with such an emotion

  • If i was gay dexter would be the only guy haha

  • 1:04 did he say you cocksucker?

  • @Blintze01 "Your work's so good, you even fooled yourself"

  • @Blintze01 no he said, you are so good...

  • @EverWinterNights

Also, lastly, the comment s/he posted which commenced with "[t]hats great, and I'm sorry if you feel like arguing with me..." did not send a notification to my email, so I was not responding to that comment, but to the ruder one which s/he proceeded to delete.

  • a shame to be put down... - Dex

  • It was so tragic - that one couldnt blame brian and dexter for becoming killers , thumbs up if you got emotional when dexter kills bryan

  • Hey look, it's Mark Anthony getting choked, 0:55

  • this tv show has the greatest sound track i ever heard. its so creepy, sad, scary and catchy all at the same time

  • 2:57 lol

  • @EverWinterNights Sociopaths have emotion. Damn it, you're aggravating.

  • @SculptedThoughts It says clearly in the show several times, describes how he has no emotion, in many scenes.

  • @EverWinterNights As someone who was almost diagnosed as a psychopath by a professional whom I was made to see by mandate of court, but was saved from the label given my age at the time, I think I have more room to speak here.

  • @SculptedThoughts Thats great, and I'm sorry if you feel like arguing with me, but I don't feel like arguing, I'm sorry with whatever your going through. Now on the other hand, you can add real life to this all you like, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a show, a fictional show, and again it is mentioned several times in the show how Dexter has no emotion, if not, little to none. I'm merely stating in the show there is nothing there, you can add real life to it all you like.

  • Comment removed

  • @EverWinterNights You're wrong again. Dexter repeatedly expresses emotion. Actions speak louder than words.

  • @EverWinterNights No, first - you couldn't care less.

Second, you're becoming bitter with me, because I've proven you wrong, and you can't handle that. If you don't want to argue, you can metaphorically walk away from this right now. As for having lives, this is hardly time-consuming.

  • @EverWinterNights Then I suppose I ought to address this to anyone else who happens to come along and read our comments...

To whom it may concern, I didn't follow EverWinterNights, look at his/her profile or comment on anything else s/he commented on. With this information, feel free to interpret his/her decision to block me, rather than walking away from a conversation that s/he did not wish to participate in, like a big kid.

  • @SculptedThoughts I know I said I wouldn't reply back, but I was in a different mood at the time. I've argued quite a bit with people in the past on here, and for the past year and a half or so, I've changed, I don't know why, I just did, which is why I'm surprised I said all the stuff I said last night. You could probably care less, and it may mean nothing to you, but I'm sorry for anything I said, it was wrong of me, I'm trying to be a big person here, not a tiny person.

  • @EverWinterNights I forgive you.

    Have a nice life.

  • @SculptedThoughts You too, it feels different though, I've never argued with a girl on here, haha. Anyway, if your dream is acting and singing, I hope you reach it one day, dreams are hard to reach, but they aren't impossible, keep going for them and leave Mcdonald's in the dust, well bye now.

  • @SculptedThoughts Oops, why did I say singing, I meant writing. My girlfriend of 8 years is trying to be a writer as well, which is why I thought it strange to lash out at you, I control myself around her, most of you writer types are different, real serious about things. She is about to publish some short stories to get noticed before putting her big one out there, I'm excited for her.

  • @EverWinterNights I have an agent for my acting, but not my writing, which is largely self-distributed. Tell your girlfriend to check out a website called Lulu.com. I promise it isn't a scam.

  • @SculptedThoughts I know, I believe you, before we made up you didn't stoop to my level in my weak moments, so I can't imagine you'd do it after making up. Thanks for the site it looks promising.

  • "...you are wright."

He was the one who really understood Dexter. There will not be more tragic csene than this one.

  • Brian is my favorite character next to Dhoaks

  • This entire scene is my favorite as well as the best in the entire series

  • As soon as Dexter said "i know that!" it really hits you how Dexter is the younger brother.

  • @CBOMB219 i know....i love christian camargo...n MCH..i want bineyy...they shudnt hv killed him....

  • @CBOMB219 Oh I know, totally. That line gets me everytime, Dexter is almost angry at the fact that he's choosing Deb over Brian. But he knows in his heart that he can't turn his back on over twenty years of sibling bonding with Deb. Brian may accept him for who he is, and be his real brother, but unfortunately he's also out of control like the Joker. And he's out of control because he doesn't have a code, hence why Dexter is the better killer.

  • Cable repair man!

  • i only watch videos from dexter i know ive scene. this show is so good i dont want any spoilers :D

  • Bros before hoes...:(

  • @munkimadness not in this case :p

  • what happened to the bro code? :(

  • When Biney cried I screamed nooo D8

  • Saddest part of it all 3:01 He loves him so much but can't control that he's a killer at heart. And Dex knows he could have been saved if his dad didnt lie to him. So sad. Love the show

  • @lord86maverick trollin like a pro

  • @phuphroo go fuck yourself loser

  • @lord86maverick dont you have a bridge to be living under?

  • @phuphroo w/e the loser says is always right go away loser

  • @lord86maverick fuck your self ugly virgin

  • @zwap12 w/e you say loser

  • In the books Dexter and Brian looked very much alike, I thought rita's husband Paul would have been a good choice for the brother, he looks more like Dexter. I don't mind the difference between the books and the shoetime series though. I enjoy them both.

  • The is the worst mistake the writers of dexter EVER made. His brother was too good a character, They were dumb for killing him off.

  • Shouldve followed the book this wouldve been so much cooler

  • Simply touching, a very powerful scene. The best season of Dexter so far!

  • 2nd best pychopath next to triny

  • 3:25 to the end of the whole killing section almost made me cry. Poor Dex had to kill Brian... But I'm glad Deb is safe! This is very upsetting D:

  • He should have kept Brian and killed Deb

  • Only Dexter could turn the death of a murdering, bloodthirsty serial killer at the hands of his equally bloodthirsty brother into poignant tragedy.

  • @neonoir77 Agreed; I cried when I saw this episode....

  • "I know that!"

  • Answer you fuckers what's the name of the music that starts at 3:03?

  • what is dexter saying at 3:18? i just can't understand it

  • @Idontlikereligion You've done more to deserve my knife than anyone.

  • Rudy was such an excellent character. I wish he could have stayed longer in the show!

  • Anyone know the music title at 3:03?

  • I think this is the only person who i didnt want Dexter to kill. His brother should have been a later-in-the-series final kill.

  • what is the name of the song of 3:04 ?

  • @cedgoth Seriously, I've been looking for this track forever, but I can't find it's name, if anyone finds it, let me know, please. :)

  • Best scene in the entire series

  • I think I felt what Brian felt when I saw that tear at 3:03

  • why didn't Harry adopt Brian as well? Poor Brian.

  • I think it was because Brian was older when his mother was killed, and to much damage was already done for harry to try and correct

  • @waterjordan2 because he was old enough to remember his mothers death, he didn't think dexter was.

  • @waterjordan2 didn't you watch the show? Rudy/Brian mentions that he remembers Harry looking at him and seeing "this fucked up kid". He was way too damaged and Harry was hoping that Dexter could be saved.

  • Best kill.

  • What is the song that is playing when he kills him?

  • i hate to say it but out of all of Deb's boyfriends on the show Brian was my favorite and thats saying something because Brian is fucking crazy.

  • @rougejaw Yeah, well, I guess we can forgive you! I mean, between the lunch time of Lundy and the kellogs of Anton, not to mention Queen's shirts... Aha, I am being silly but if I talk seriously, I really can get you because Brian's character was really really strong, and so was his relationship with Dexter.

This show, how mad and unusual it is, is still the most "true" to me... Hard to explain it (And I'm french so it doesn't help, hehe).

  • R.I.P Biney

  • God i miss brain :(

  • @badmd14 Lol, I bet you do miss having a brain.

  • @royalpanthera7

    ROFL

  • i cried a little while watching this episode

  • eww. ouch! nast sounds! lol

  • Please, tell me, where do you get these clips? i am trying to make a dexter video :D

  • Brian looks JUST like Richard Ramirez (The Night Stalker), That's what made him soo creepy to me and thats how i knew from the first time I saw him, he was the Ice Truck Killer. I wonder if they cast him because of that.

  • so sad... got all wet eyes...

  • very sad scene, you can kind of see Dexters humanity in a way, like he cant help who he is

  • why did dexter have to kill him? they could have went around killing people together

  • @3acdc3mtlca Because Brian fucked up and wanted to kill Deb. If he didnt try doing that, they probably still wouldnt have ended up killing together because they do it and think of it very differently.

  • best dexter kill ever

  • I miss biney :(

  • god i cant watch that last part without tearing up.

  • this is so sad, poor rudy!!!!!!!!!

  • best scene in the whole show

  • great start time, but you should have kept going for another min or two

  • omg why did dexter kill his own brother jesus thats sick?

  • @drivensw Because if he didn't he would kill his sister. So what's worse. His sister. Or his brother a murdering sociopath.

  • @drivensw Maybe you should watch the series before asking questions.

  • @drivensw lol did you even watch the show? his brother was a cold serial killer who didn't give a sh*t about who he killed. Dexter went after serial killers and bad people who deserved to die. He said it was tough for him to kill his own brother. but he had to.

  • @drivensw Dexter didn't have a choice. He had to kill his brother. If he didn't Rudy would just keep on hunting down Debra and eventually kill her. Debra is the only thing that is keeping Dexter from being a killer without reason.

  • @xxdethpallyxx

Or he could have been sent to life in prison...

  • @drivensw

Did you even watch the actual show?

  • Even Cancer can't kill Dexter! Dexter for Life!

  • he kills the only person that accepted him, that loved him, and leaves fucking lila alive until last episode. She kille dinnocent too

  • -/3

  • biney -/3 :'(

  • @TheEnd795

Why does Dex call Brian Biney?

  • @EverWinterNights Dexter call brian Biney because when dexter was little, he couldn't pronounce Brian so he said Biney.

  • i never saw it coming when he turned out to be his brother

  • Wonder why Brain killed his father in that epoisde. I was wondering if Dexter would bring it up but he never did. I just got done looking at the 1st season on netflix

  • Brian seemed to have sympathized with Dexter's decision to kill him when he thought it was to fulfill his code, even when he thought he was going to be his trophy. But he broke down when he realized it was for Debra, his fake sister. In the second season, Dexter ultimately decides to go through with his plan of framing Doakes when his sister gave him her speech for how she dealt with Brian's betrayal. Either Dexter will lose it if Deb ever dies, or she'll end up turning him in. I think. sumthin.

  • id say this is my favorite scene of all time along with the death of miguel and a lot of the scenes with doakes and dexter when he has dexter locked up all those scenes were classic and then the scene with the skinner when he has dexter tied up ready to be skinned that was a classic scene too and season 4 is awesome too but ya this still is one of the best scenes ever i couldnt believe when i found out that rudy was really dexters brother named brian

  • why he killed his own bro any1??

  • @joncobber because he was going to kill his step sister deb who he considers his real sister since he grew up with her and plus brian is the complete opposite of his code much worse than most of the people he kills cuz brian is the ice truck killer a full blown serial killer with no code

  • he shouldn't have killed his brother *

  • @peacenomeat of course he should have

  • i cant help but wonder how dexter wouldve progressed if he killed deb or if he let brian kill deb or hell even if he let brian live

i cant help but wonder what woudlve happened if the writers took one of those routes

  • Sweet dreams Bainy

  • omq this broke my heart. every single scene with brian and dexter had me speechless.

and wow... the first time dexter ever cried? or came close to it ever since his mother's murder? WOW

i felt like crying too :'(

    RIP- Biney

  • I've heard the cancer is already over.

Dexter is ready to kill .... again, on Fox, this september !!

  • on fox!?

  • Shit, i cant wait but anyway the time is just time xD

  • fox?

  • I hope Michael C. Hall has a healthy speedy recovery from lymphoma. Shows you how tough he is in real life battling cancer.

  • Does he honestly have cancer? when did this happen and how serious is it?

  • Yes. Michael C. Hall has cancer, but it's in remission. So he's fine. He's going to do Season 5, just like planned. :]

  • @cenigmah He beat the cancer :) But I guess you already know that, considering your comment is 1 month old ;)

  • @terrorofsesameST i met him a few weeks ago....seriously the nicest guy ever...very smart and funny...jennifer is great too...she cusses alot now lol..it was great...

  • @terrorofsesameST he didn't beat it. He MURDERED IT! hahaha.

  • @terrorofsesameST His inner dexter will kill the cancer

  • I thought the ending was really sad but in a really creepy, fucked up way
