  • I read somewhere they are always perfect on stage together because "she is a tigress and he - a sacrificial lamb"... I`d add - she mostly looks like a very nice tigress with a good sense of humour. And Carreras - as a lamb with distinctive features of quite a strong character. And therefore they always produce a deep multiplex impression... The best opera pair IMO.
