Thanks for the thoughtful comments, everyone. The name of the song is "Turn it Around" by Tim McMorris - we thought it captured the urgency of the information. Tim's a musician from the Niagara Falls area in Ontario.
*shrugs* impossible for everyone 2 live with what they have now unless others suffer. Soon we will have overpopulation as a problem as well, guess what more people are going to die.
this really brought into focus how self centred we humans can be. There isn't enough we could do as individuals, but as we spread the word & need & humble ourselves so that the world can change. One by one.
I showed this to my 8 year old son, and he was fascinated by the statistics. Very moving. Makes me proud to be a supporting member of the Ontario Science Centre.
this is soo important i love the video and the music!

How many don't have access to family planning? Without that, we'll be 8 billion very soon. What a self-destructive species we are.

This is Liberal propaganda.
There is no data about birth rates in Africa -- they need less children, more responsibility.
There is no data about corruption in Asia, Africa, Latin America -- they need less of that.
There is no data about religions -- and expansion of islamism?
These are their problems, not ours -- as the presentation implicitly tries to say: because we've got clean water, electricity etc.

We'd still have children dying of hunger...! Insane, but not surprising...
