I was using Sony Vegas at the time, as I was on PC in those days. Vegas is awesome, and has lots of cool FX - and the best audio editing of any NLE. I still have that machine, but I primarily work on Final Cut Studio on my 8 core Mac Pro.

Did you ever find that bass amp you were looking for?

Ha! Yes I did. I went with the Roland Bass Cube 100. It is really nice for my needs. I don't play bass with a band so I don't need a giant rig. The Cube 100 has lots of cool effects and amp models, it's compact and it is really quite loud if I want. I could do a gig with it if the band wasn't more acoustic or jazz.

I'm off work long-term with 'Repetitive Brain Injury' , (I was an accountant for 20 years or so), so my days here are pretty similar to yours..wake up, smoke some meds, and assault the guitar mountain..It's messy work, but someone has to do it..

Hippiedude. I don't Robotrip any more. That was something I did a few times when I was 20. It's a dirty high. As to the other: I have a doctors recommendation to legally allow me to smoke weed. You gotta love California!
