Great throws , Judo is a great martial art , I did some judo when I was 14 .
It's a really great help , But I actually find that many of those throws are a bit difficult to perform in a street fight , But still I say they are helpful .
I used to do WJJF Ju Jitsu which I recall is mainly Judo throws mixed with strikes. The throws never incorporated gi grips. Always wrist grabs, hands under armpits, forearm strikes to the neck and joint locks to the elbow and knees instead of gi grips.
In a comparatively compliant environment it seemed pretty good. I wouldn't have bet on myself against an equivalent Judo guy at throwing though. Judo practice is more real in the sense that your partner is truly resisting.

most, if not all judo throws can be modified to be performed without grabbing a gi or other article of clothing
