i have 6 horses

um, ages are 4, 4, 6, 6, 9, 11.

i have mostly pure bred quarter horses, but i have a some paints, and TB mixes in there. lol

um...i have a pure western pleasure competitive gelding...a young gelding into barrel training and my first horse, who is just in the pasture from a health condition, but yes, i used to barrel race him too. :) so its those three who arn't in this vid

i personally dont like to use bands, but if you do, you have to know how to brake them quickly..I know alot of girls that havent had any troubles breaking them, but everytime i have used them, even the thinest ones ever, i have had issues with falling horses, and not being able to get out.

ACTUALLY, most NBHA riders use them. you havent been barrel racing long so you may not know about them. but they snap very easily. A very successful futurity rider sometimes uses them on her seasoned horses.

what times do your horses run full blast?

um..depends around arena sizes. dusty will get anywhere from 13-17 for different arena sizes. twister is alwaya half a second behind max. it depends on her good days or bad. marc gets 17 just about anywhere. and diablo hasn't been timed.

umm...we're still playing games around the barrels hehe. he broke a rib earlier on and that delayed everything so now he's back about a week ago and he's good to go but we haven't gotten around to the barrels yet. lol. but i'll definately let u guys know how it goes during the winter when his training starts!
