It's a regular 14g needle, just a lot longer. I don't have a cheek piercing so I can't really tell you which how it's going to feel, the only way for you to really find out is to go through with it :p

Holding ones breath right when the needle goes through helps the client prepare for the needle that pierces their flesh, It's only for that second. Other wise, proper breathing will help them stay calm and keep a steady blood circulation. :)

I would most definitely prefer the piercing over the anchor when it comes to the cheek area. It's much for effective because of the flat back on the inner cheek doing the "pull"

Lol most people that get them don't have dimples. The jewelry pulls on the area of the piercing when one smiles to create the effect of dimples. That's why most people get them, so they can have dimples :)
