They just Proved That The Heroes Of War Doesn't Need Honor!
They only need to finish there missions at all cost!
and save those who they want to protect.
There is No Right or Wrong in this world because every choice you make leads to another path which only you can walk upon.
They sacrificed there selves not only for both the mission and to save humanity, but rather they did it to Satisfy themselves and to protect there love ones.
@escopeteroce Personally I have mixed feelings about what you said. I just think I might've gotten into Takeru's character a bit more.. Or I just let the emotions get to me more.. Anyway..
It just somewhat got into my attention unpleasantly..
As a weirdo who I am. Even after I finished MLA, I still mourn everyone silently, and don't think that anyone should say anything about that.
I can hold up my head, and look back towards everyone with a smile. I shall remember all of em for who they were.
@geenius3ab Same. This visual novel is a truly unique, epic masterpiece. My only complaint is the ending, which was fairly unsatisfying. However, one could see it as Takeru's reward for fighting the beta, so many times, in so many different worlds.
@gbatemper123 Again, I completely agree!! The ending just completely ruined the atmosphere! >_> It could have done a lot better, cause who the hell would throw COMEDY at your face after all that?!.. I'd rather think that the only correct approach should have been a sad one, like tears welling up on Takeru for no reason, without him noticing, and everyone acting worried. And skip the comedy completely.. That isn't MLA!
It is obvious that Age wanted to fit as big of an audience as possible sadly.
@geenius3ab Yep. Comedy was totally wrong. But still, it's understandable. Takeru, who went through all the character development, became a legendary war veteran fighting aliens, and his greatest reward that sumika gave was a fresh new start at life.
@gbatemper123 Well to be quite frank.. It might be understandable, why it did what it did.. But Age should have THOUGHT how it would RUIN the atmosphere that it built up for the grand finale..
A bit of comedy wouldn't have hurt.. But from a fucking tragic story to run straight on into a wall of slapstick comedy, with a HAREM ending?! That's so wrong!
It's obvious that a couple of 'standard' otakus was in the development crew, and wanted to ''lighten'' the mood with a harem ending..
@geenius3ab Yep. The change in story was a bit too dramatic. But sumika in the alternative wanted to give everyone else a chance (aka a harem) for takeru, but if takeru kept his memory, he off course would go after Sumika, so I think sumika somehow purposely had the other world memories subconsciously hidden.
I would've preferred a non harem ending, where he either stayed in his world, or he slowly regained all his memories in the other world.
@gbatemper123 Well I don't think that it was possible, as the second Sumika died there, her effects ended.. Another reality pulled Takeru in.
The reason why everyone appeared, is cause of the meetings Takeru had in the Alternative world, some ''casualities'' (Aka memories.) still lingered in Takeru, which pulled in the events of Kasumi, and Yuuhi appearing.. And it was obvious that in Alternative, all of them had feelings for Takeru. But the setting didn't show it..
@geenius3ab Hmm. I'm 99% sure it wasn't because of a causilty. I'm pretty sure Sumika created the world for Takeru.
But, what I am confused about is whether Yashiro remembers her memories. She says "See you later" "I'll always remember you in my memories" and in the end of alternative she cries when she see's him.
@gbatemper123 i gotta admit i wasent too sure myself, plus she was thanking Sumika alot while crying - as if Sumika had let Yashiro exist in that world; it would have really helped if they ahd translated the final dialouge after he gets punched into space - but could be it didnt say anything worthwhile~
But your right, it wasent causality - Yoshiro mentioned something about Sakumi guiding him towards a certain world before she died.
@Rubytyr Oh, when you final dialogue, do you mean at the end of Alternative? It was all extra like stuff they were talking about, cooking competition etc. Nothing too important. Muv-Luv Altered Fable also makes some small references and jokes that implies Takery subconsciously remembers.
Oh, and now I'm pretty sure Yashiro, being a esper, has either shared memories from parallel universes or has the ability to obtain them. Its the only logical explanation of why Yashiro cried.
I want this played at my funeral.
