Canada lost close to 50.000 soldiers I would know since they liberated most of holland in ww2 and we honor those brave soldiers that died for our freedom. Brazil lost nearly 3000 men that is a verry small number compared to others. That is about 0.02 % of the population. The difference is we were invaded and we were forced to live under nazi oppresion for 5 years. Our freedom was taken from us

Russia didn't really win most of the war by themselves. It was Russia alliance with Germany that enabled Hitler's victories in the west. The USSR started the war on Germany side, contributing nothing to the allies till the middle of 41. And The USSR didn't join the war in the Pacific till 1945.
