  • "cummings is the only man who could use the word caribou in a song and make it cool"the studio cut of this is just killer.

  • Man it don't get no better than this!

  • Need a better recording of this song on youtube

  • one my favs songs better on solo that tgw way back in 72

  • Another great song....One of my favorite songs when Henry Small was singing with Burton Dragin them down the line ???? or something along that line...can't seem to find it anywhere.....

  • The best Guess Who song by far, I think, thank's for posting - I can't get this out of my head :)

  • never really wanted to say goodbye ...to this jam...don't fucking around with those canadian boys......

  • he sounds like billy squier

  • Billy Squire....Thats funny..LOL

  • he's great

  • I like the fact this music is unappreciated, makes it even easier to like it so much :)

  • Everytime I hear the Guess who it takes me back to my early teens, gettin high, trippin on cid, keggers, hippies, hott chicks bangin tons of beave oh those were the days my friend.........

  • Haha .. Man those were the day's .

  • what is cid?

  • Acid, LSD

  • Absabloddylutely....

  • It's a shame theres no better versions available!

  • First two times I read the title, I could have sworn it said "Godspeed Mother Fucker" =/

  • Burton Cummings is such an underrated and underappreciated musician, shit like this dosen't even have 10,000 views, and you go to smoke miley cyrus or jonas borthers shit and its got millions.

  • LOL... well there's, 11,314 now...

  • @ReDRuM868, he's only underrated to the people who don't know anything about music... people who listen to miley suckdicks and jonas trench or whatever the fuck they are now... the only reason those bands do well is because theyre all still virgins like the however many million 12 year old girls listen to them... those bands are only famous because of marketing... just pointing out the obvious lol...

  • this is such a cool song i wished i could find a more clean version of it.

    good stuff

    jimmy

  • Yeah this song is sick i heard it on the radio a while ago and i've been trying to find it forever, this is the best i could do, I Dont think theres a studio version on the internet, At least i cant find it

  • limewire

  • Much stronger guitar fills in the background than on the original studio LP!

  • by 'original studio lp' - are you talking the original guess who version, or burton's rehash on dream of a child? i've got pretty clean versions of both (one's cd). so i could upload them if you want.

  • @canconrox ya do it please please please

  • thanks for posting made my morning.

  • Is the studio version on youtube or no?

  • Whats this song called?

  • guns guns guns. origonally but some pp, call it godspeed mother nature

  • wow what a spirited performance by cummings

  • I NEVER REALLY WANTED TO SAY GOODBYE!

  • God Speed Mother Nature !

  • they put power in their music

and boy you ought to hear em now.

they put power in the music,

the boys r gonna show you how!!

  • Great band, great singer. Burch magic!

  • If there is a better singer on this planet, I have yet to hear him!

  • You and I both

  • Burton Cummings was born to sing. This has truly been his calling.

  • I prefer the studio version of this song. It has a deep meaning.

  • Good band: Ian Gardiner on bass, Jack Daniels on guitar, Henry Small on vocals, Jimmy Phillips on keyboards.

Not sure who the drummer is - Is it Ace Hollaran or Garry Peterson?

  • Not sure either, but don't think it's Garry Peterson

  • that's not henry small.... nor jimmy phillips

  • Well, I'm Ace Holleran, and it's not me on drums. It can't be Garry because he rejoined BC in 79. I think it's a guy named Ron Mercier, who was on the band right before me.

Anthony is dead on with the rest of the band. Sorry, bankeh, but this is the exact band I played with.

My first gig with Burton was in May of 78 on Midnight Special. There was a video of "American Woman" from this MS (with Randy) but it's been taken down.

    Ace

  • Hi ace...I'll try put tha version of "america woman up if you are interested

  • Thank you, Mark, for another great BC video! I can't wait to logon each day to see if you posted another one. Fun, fun, fun!!

    Thanks again!

  • look at their hair hahahaha....those were the days
