  • Pro-life: I'm not afraid to say that the life of a sapling begins at germination. I am totally opposed to the abhorrent and immoral procedure of clear-cutting — except, of course, in the rare cases where the health of the forest ecosystem is at risk. - Ralph Nader

  • i wish you would win

  • Then help make it a reality.

Learn how to canvass at RonPaulReveres(dot)com

  • How can he be so right about so many other topics but so damn wrong on this one... now I don't know who I will vote for.

  • And you're obviously very ignorant about this issue then. It's like saying you won't vote for Ron Paul because he doesn't believe in evolution. Completely foolish.

  • An embryo does not have rights and the States should not be allowed to keep a women from their right to choose.

  • Go ask the National Right to Life who is more conservative on abortion.Fred Thompson Picks Up Endorsement from Virginia Pro-Life Group.Virginia Group is the Oldest Pro-Life Organization in the USA .Fred Thompson received the endorsement of Vermont Right to Life.

Fred Thompson received the endorsement of the Wisconsin Right to Life political action committee (PAC).Fred Thompson received the endorsement of South Carolina Citizens for Life.Vote Fred Thompson!!!!

  • As far as rape and incest & other circumstances go, how do you feel about that? "I have my personal opinion, but legally I would say the states would sort that. Because I think uhh I think uh if someone has been raped within 24 hours some States would certainly permit some type of morning after pill. That to me is a lot different than when you have a chemical and legal definition of preganancy. Then I don't think abortion should be done" ----

  • no state should make the morning after pill illegal, it's not even abortion. I looked into that one, it only works if the sperm has not yet found the egg. so the morning after pill doesn't even fit in this category. but again, I agree states and cities even can figure this out, even if abortion is necessary, either to save the mother in case of complications, or to whatever.

  • Pregnancy does not exist medically or legally until implantation. Three-quarters of all fertilized eggs never implant, and of the 25% that do, a great number stop cell division early.

He's using INCREDIBLE exaggeration to make a spurious point. He is a dangerous nut.

He belongs to a HIGHLY conservative medical group against Medicare, Medicaid, required vaccinations and all abortions. They also believe health care is NOT A RIGHT!!!

  • you think it's weird to believe health care is not a right? Do you provide a good or service? is food a right? is housing a right? I don't know where you are getting at with these details about fertilized eggs, but you just ruined a good sounding argument by implying Health Care is some sort of human right.

  • Yeah, I think it's VERY weird to see health care as a privilege, not a right. If you don't have your health, you don't have ANYTHING. I grew up in societies based on this simple humanitarian tenet, and I sure as hell believe it, too. We are viewed as callous, money-obsessed wackos by most of the civilized world. 50 million un/derinsured citizens in the most prosperous nation on earth - naaah, nothing wrong with that!

  • What was I getting at with my statistics regarding the demise of most fertilized eggs? That pro-lifers' claim suggesting that a full-term infant, an adult, you,or any other human is qualitatively identical to a just-fertilized ovum in every sense. It's clear that the 'protection-worthy life begins at conception' by virtue of sheer genetics is spurious at best.

  • then you are talking semantics, the issue is abortion on demand for bad personal responsibility (i.e. sexual activity without concern for personal consequences) I should never have to pay to kill someone else's child, but effectively that is the law, and that is the problem. the details of when and where and under what circumstances should be sorted out on the state and local level.

  • I don't believe that a non-sentient, pre-viable embryo/early fetus is a 'child', and neither do any scientists I know (not to mention millions of Americans). When the Constitution was written, embryology wasn't even a developed science. I don't believe anyone should reverse a law that allows individual choice, since the question as to what exact point 'intrauterine humanity' begins will never be answered definitively by humans.

  • Funny thing, aside from your twisted sarcasm, is that only one Congressman's son is serving in the military. Another thing, is that people who want drastic reduction in population won't volunteer. People for gun control quickly change when they are assaulted, robbed, and raped.

  • Leaving it up to the states would just create more South Dakota like bans, which if you don't remember, was a complete nightmare. The state should not be making a blanket decision for all women regards to thier bodies and life.

  • Then get out and vote. States do make laws regarding women and THEIR bodies. However, the baby, residing in their bodies, are NOT the woman's body. He or She, is a uniquely separate individual with 46 unique chromosomes. Plus, a woman cannot attempt suicide, so she really doesn't have a choice to control her own body, let alone the unique baby within her.

  • I thought that gives more power to the people...

  • Before people who don't pay attention start pro actively disagreeing and hating Dr. Paul on the issue, please note that just because he doesn't personally believe in abortion, it doesn't mean that he's going to outlaw it. He will leave that up to the states because that is what the U.S. CONSTITUTION (his political bible) tells him to do.

  • "Hey framecut,

Have you noticed that all the idiots for abortion have never been aborted. I would like to recommend you for an abortion. "

When you've got nothing of merit to say: always resort to insults.

"Idiot, abortion is a tool of the eugenicists to control the poor and middle class."

    This is just plain stupid.

Go back to your bottle buddy.

  • Actually, abortion was pushed by Margaret Sanger to get rid of the Irish, Black, and other minorities, based on the new philosophy of Darwinism. Saying something is "plain stupid" without any argument is really an indicator of a lack of education. I suggest a critical thinking course.

  • The principle matter is the matter within our government not anyone elses. Ron Paul is for personal responsiblity. Taking responsibility for ones actions. What it does is cause people to think before they act and if they dont to suffer if any the consequences due to the law. His rational is quite clear about how he takes about how its irational to kill the baby 10 mins before it comes out and say thats okay but when you pull the baby out and kill it 10 mins after the fact, its murder.

  • This video scares the shit out of me.

Of COURSE it's crazy to kill a full-term and/or viable fetus. But abortions aren't performed then! What a drama queen!

Most abortions take place early in the 1st trimester, LOOOONG before sentience or viability.

75% of fertilized eggs never implant; only 25% result in pregnancy (and many of those 25% are lost afterwards.) Sentience isn't remotely possible until after 20 weeks.

  • How does this scare you because ultimately he is not saying it should be illegal, just left up to the states. Given that it is better handled with the states, which makes perfect sense. We all are against abortion personally, but legally the unconstitutionality of Roe vs Wade makes it better decided in the hands of local gov't better than federal.

  • Speak for yourself. I have had my children, so I'm not scared for myself personally, but 'leaving it up to the states'IS scary, and could be disastrous. Women will always have abortions, and if they have to cross state lines to get legal ones, many won't be able to do that. We'll be back in the era of back-alley abortions. Early abortion is not murder in many minds, by the way.

  • If it is the people's will locally, than it is up to the people to decide whether or not that law should be enforced in their state. I understand your view and the stats to back it, because from a legal standpoint, i'm pro-choice. but since this is an act of agression towards a human being. It should be considered a moral issue and any violent act is conducted at a local level.

  • There is always going to be a grey area in abortion. this is where states rights matter. If the people in the states do not agree with it, than the communities in the state will be more pleased with the outcome.

  • We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I grew up in Europe and have a lot of trouble with the political mindset here. With the exception of Ireland, every Western European country offers early legal abortions, and debate surrounding the morality of that fact simply doesn't exist. (Well, maybe a few Catholics are at odds with it, but they're typically much older people who aren't politically vocal.)

  • well abortion is always seen here as a very complicated issue. Because before abortion, the fetus still had rights. And much of those rights have been deminished due to Roe v Wade. I just wouldn't place Ron Paul in the same boat as extreme Christian conservatives like Huckabee. Because Ron Paul only follows the constitution and has the best record to prove it. Most of the things he says can be easily manipulated, but that's only because it's easy to manipulate the truth.

  • WELL EUROPEANS HAVE NO MORALS LOL

  • A better thing to say is, the truth of the matter is that only half way intelligent people will get birth control so they don't get pregnant. Whoa... there's an idea. Abortion ends the life of a human being. What you can apply to a toddler, or teenager, should be applied to the youngest in our society. You can't kill a toddler, and you can't kill a pre-born. Age is the only difference. And we don't discriminate because of age.

  • Totally agree with you. Why the negative six on your comment? Because the vast majority of posters here are hardcore anti-choice with completely closed minds. Your comment was the sanest I've seen attached to this particular video.

  • DO whatever you can, people. GIVE whatever you can. The Founding Fathers pledged "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". It will take nothing less today. Unless we are willing to go big we may as well stay home and wait for the worst. Let's just do it . Give generously of your time, talents and money. Go to ronpaul2008(dot)com thisnovember5th . com

  • The position of pro-life.

  • All these videos sure give me hope! Please pray for Dr Paul's safety!!

  • saw all the videos, great stuff man! what kind of camera do you use? I love the quality!
