  • nice but i think it 's to small ,,,ducks get big and want lots of water...

  • That ramp is way too steep for ducks! Otherwise, very cool.

  • Hopefully you do not have many bears around your coop because a bear will pop open the roof of the coop

  • Do you have blueprints or measurements? I would like to build this for my 10 ducks.

  • If you place wheels ~ midpoint each side the lifting will be nearly weightless. Nice design otherwise though.

  • Really great! I like the hunter green color, it compliments the roof! Those little bolt action locks suck tho. When the wet weather comes, the wood swells and then they don't exactly work well. At least, that's my experience. Good luck with yer ducks!!!

  • AWESOME SET UP.

  • excellent

  • I hope you have a much bigger pen for them to go into during the day for proper exercise...

  • i would make it a little bigger but looks nice my geese are in a cage about 8 by 10 and thats just my new baby goose but yes ducks are smaller i mean s long as they get exercise i'm sure you let them out to walk

  • what do you do about winter time and the snow and cold ? ????

  • @citruc3 Chickens are pretty resilant, you can use a 100 watt light bulb & that'll keep them plenty warm...

  • what did you do about winter time ? how do the chickens fair up when its freezing or snowing ?

  • great job!! I like it.

  • Fabulous! I feel the same as you, that so many of these designs are not big enough. Question though, where is the roost?

  • Beautiful tractor! What is the pvc pipe that is turned down at the back?

    Thanks so much!

  • haha funky

  • nice video, thanks for sharing . heres a 3D plan view of our latest

mobile chicken coop as close to free range as you can get,,, see our

    channel for plans,,,,many thanks

  • mmm, can i use it on quails ?

  • very nice, my tractor is very similar click on me and check it out. Elliot coleman also has a very good book called 4 seasons gardening. He lives up here in maine as well

  • I like FRESH duck eggs!

  • probably be better to just leave the top ection with no buckets so they will feel more comfy, but you probably have them by now...

  • Also, from what I have read, you can contain these birds with an 18 inch high fence because although they can fly, they prefer not to.

  • We also ordered (13) Welsh Harlequin ducks this year. I just figured out the eggs are actualy jumbo size at 32oz per dozen. People can't believe they lay .9 eggs per day or often over 300 per year! These are the best ducks and ours just today started quacking instead of peeping. Tomorrow I start on my duck tractor. It will be about 10 x 12' and 2' high with chicken wire on sides and top with a 2x4 and 2x2 frame.

  • I wonder how many bantam chickens I could get in something similar to that...

  • I'm not an expert, but I would say 10-12 would fit nicely. We plan on accomodating 10 welsh harlequin ducks.

  • Ohh I like the design!

  • sweet tractor coop.

  • Our original plan is for egg production, weed control and feriilizer. I think it will also be a lot of fun.

  • Looks great! Will the ducks be pets, or for eggs?
