Didn't know that OS 4 could be run on a A1200... I thought that it could only be run on an AmigaOne.

@sammymarlo well u can run os4 on a a1200 if u have a ppc board installed. like it sayes in his description. "PPC 603+ 160mhz" then u can run the "os4 classic" dist.

Well disable solid window dragging and you will get it alot nicer :)

I would go for MorphOS instead.

I was going to say "eew OS4 is way too slow on the miggy 1200", but on second thought its surprising a new OS runs on a machine that old at all!

You need to set icons to use "other memory" not "graphic memory" in the workbench prefs.

I used AGA for a day untill I got my voodoo3 PCI to work on OS4. Nice job :)

God I bloody love OS4... really wish I had something to run it on... Oh well... I guess Mr Jobs will have to take my money if Mr McEwen doesn't want it... ;-)
