@youvebeenthunderstru The Rhythm Of The Saints album was published by Worner Music Group who don't like people posting there songs on YouTube at all, that's why you won't find the original version on YouTube, I was somewhat surprised to find this and other live versions of this song.
"All those drums" are Olodum. They are a very famous Samba band. Check out some of their own videos. If you want more stuff like them mail me for suggestions.
I love Danny DeVito very much. Don't know Wee Man, though I saw a few installments of Jackass. But, Paul Simon has written a number of masterpieces and enchanted me from age 7 forward.
I'm not sure where/how I got these videos, but it(Tokyo Dome Show) was aired to public in Japan, other "Osaka" show also aired through radio. I have no idea for audience size, but officially Tokyo Dome can seat more than 50,000. And it might be sold out concert.
I was only saying I have Rock and Roll friends who like only rock and roll....no world music vibe about them. Thus, they don't always understand my other leanings...
I got what you were saying , you should try living in toronto we have the united nations of music here you can get almost any world influence you want
Thanks for putting this up. It was annoying that they took down the legendary Central Park version.
On another note, it's funny that they zoom in on Gadd at the beginning. He seemed to be having fun playing with that drumline. Gadd doesn't smile much, it's cool they caught him.
Such a beautiful song
