Those clouds sure looked they were carrying something bad.....and then the tornado sirens going off at 3:30....looks like your in for a wild night. Stay safe omaha people...
I've seen lighting like that in Katoomba. One night after some thunder and lighting my mum, sister and i were planning to walk around the whole block but we only got as far as the end of our street and we seen a really big flash of lighting with abit of a spark in it and my mum said we should go home now because it was not safe but my sister and i wanted to go around the whole block but insted we went home and when i come to think of it it was quite funny really. Good vid 5/5
ya it was a scary storm. That wall cloud that rolled in in this video moved very fast. I stood there for about 10 minutes after i stopped recording. It got alot worse and really was rotating. I am not sure if that funnel cloud ever touched down. But i know several did in the area.
I hate Tornado Alley - especially this year - round after round after ROUND of severe, day in, night out - just stay safe, hear y'all supposed to have more weather later -
O that's a scary sky - supercells and tornado clouds have their own built in chill factor - glad you're okay - stay safe, 'hear? Hope you have a basement - we don't here in Texas (unfortunately) -
June 2008. Best time for Tornadoes in Eastern Nebraska.

I agree. Great reminder that humans don't always have control.

That night was wild, but we got lucky here in Omaha. There weren't any tornadoes reported in the city.
