  • did you use a lense?

  • just hold, AE-L pressed, exposures won't be popping anymore, easy

  • depends what lens and how your using it .. check out some of the other vids on you tube with a nikon d 90 you can see quite obviousoly some vids are much better than others and the good vids look pretty damn good after being through the you tube mincing machine

  • terrible ...put it back in the box

  • I don't care if this camera takes good video photo function is the important

  • too compressed to actually see what the Nikons video is like. watch some other HD vids on youtube to see what its really like

  • I will agree that it is a *photo* camera foremost, but I also think Nikon should have made it easier to set the "af/ae hold" lock.

Not hard to do but unless you do some digging it won't be apparent right away.

  • I think it is an oversight on Nikon's part. They should have a exposure lock preset when in video mode.

  • They do. :)

  • There's no oversight on anybody's part. The D90 can lock the exposure while in video mode.

    I know. I own one.

  • What setting did you make for the D90 video fix, which involves a custom setting of the exposure lock control?

  • it is hard to evaluate after video transformation for youtube !

  • well, let's not forget it's a PHOTO camera, NOT a video camera.

  • Yeah, still it captures video really well! with HD quality . its more like a photovideo camera

  • hmm and aside from that, it still looks so much like video cause it is too stark and contrasty instead of nicely fading and soft light levels.
