Good job on the vid, & the background music...Wish I coulda made it, but too far for this old man to drive...But livin in Wi. get to make the EAA annual visit...
In the U.S. there is no pilot license required. So yes, you can buy and fly. But it is highly recommended that you get with an experienced and certified instructor to go over gear choices and what you want out of the sport first before you decide to buy and start instruction. It looks very simple, but is deceivingly tricky and takes lots and lots of time and practice to do it well. It's really all in the pilots ability to control the paraglider. Hope to see you in the sky someday!
Fantastic job on this video Adam, captures a lot of what you can see out there flying, like at the Wild Horse Mesa and cutting through the dried up river basin.
Wish I didnt have to work and could have flown more with you...maybe a trip to AZ will be in the near future.
Yes I did get a chance to fly it. First try, the wind spirits had other plans. I kited it a bit and it is a very, very, very light weight glider with good feel and lots of lift. I tried a reverse in light wind thinking it would just shoot up and hang there, nope. It is so light that it doesn't have the momentum other gliders do. So it will fall back if you don't stay on the A's for a while and get moving forward. Really nice feeling glider and great performance for a DHV 1.
Great video! I would love to load up my powered parachute and join yall.

Just A-mazing! Do you have to go to somekind of school to become an independet pilot or can you just buy the stuff and take off?
