@RachelAClarke Okay, so I'm assuming you're fine with the creation side of it (i.e. mixing sounds together)... from there I saved the file into mp3 form and loaded onto my iPod, then plugged that into portable speakers to play in the house.

I'm sure there a few ways to play files through a sound system but the only one I can think of is if you have a media system that can play mp3 cds, in which case you just burn your finished sound file to cd.

Thanks, and no need to buy, this is being freely provided. There are a number of ways to download, but I'd recommend you use a sound recorder like GoldWave and just record the sound playing through your soundcard. Look out for tutorials on how to record sound if you're unsure!
