@chonomakona I'd argue that Parks and Rec is consistently more hilarious than Community, Community just has many aspects of it that lend itself to a cult following so I think it gets rated higher. Plus the way their episodes revolve around specific things, such as paintball episodes makes it much easier to talk about than Parks and Rec which has a more standard structure. Though I love Community, I think parks and Rec is better

@1randomfella1 P&R is extremely subtle and smart. It's wonderfully acted and the characters are well written and sympathetic. The show is incredibly layered with there being tons of visual comedy mixed in with the quick and witty dialogue. The recurring cast of characters and world building of Pawnee invokes classic Simpsons. I'd really love to see what you consider "good comedy" because Parks and Recreation is consider by critics to be one of the best comedies on TV right now, any network.
