If the plane did a full 90 degree nose dive into the water at 500+ mph (the equivalent of the WTC crashes) you would see the entire plane and any resulting debris initially disappear into the water. If the plane side swyped a building like it's doing to the water, the wing would break off.

Classic example of how boeing aircrafts suck at wing design, severely limiting the gliding distance. In 2001 an A330-200 Ran out of fuel above the atlantic, and had to glide for more then 80 Nautical Miles (or 150KM) to the Azores and had altitude to spare, and made a series of 360 degree turns to loose some altitude. After that landed safely on Lajes Airbase. That's what I call a great plane! Don't forget the pilots: Robert Piche and Dirk de Jager.

everytime i fly with boeing there's somethin wrong.last time (koreanair) we were on top of russia we still had 7 hours before to land in paris and all of the sudden all the tv went down and we could smell gaz on the plane for at least 30 min then the smell was gone and once we landed the smell was back again no one knows what happened. but it seems like the smell of gaz were from the engines n was coming through the freakin door not so safe dont u think? lol i craped myself on this 12h flight

This emegency landing could've been a full success if the hijackers had not fight him at the same time. As that was not enougt the plane was out of fuel and engines failed the capatin used the ram air turbine to preserve some functions, but that also ment no hydralics and no flaps and a landing speed at 200 miles.
