And I happen to prefer this, I admit, because I go to these concerts to party haha. He is great vocally, I have him all over my ipod, love him on the radio. Live, however, not so much
Not at all if you have read the comments I put on before. He is one of the most vocally talented country artists out there right now. I really do appreciate it. Since those comments were posted I have seen him twice more and still, his performance doesnt do it for me (as in I would not pay to see him only, he has been grouped into other artists we were seeing). I happen to prefer an entertaining show when I go to country concerts at bars and outdoor venues.
I hope your not saying he can't sing are you? Because if you are you must be tone def that guy right there has more talent then 95% of country music performers today
I agree completely. However, his total lack of any enthusiasm seemed to transfer to the crowd. I feel a performer should at least act like they are having fun or be excited about what they do. It was awkward and one of the only shows I have been to that the ending song only had mild applause. I hope he was just having an off night or develops more as a performer because he has a lot of competition in his genre that CAN sing and put on a fabulous show
A singer shouldn't have to climb poles or jump through hoops in order to put on a great show. I get tired of seeing singers resorting to stunts, and in doing so, fall short in the vocal department! This guy has one of those "special voices," that needs to be shared to the fullest!
Thanks! he really can sing! However, his show as unfortunately one of the weakest ones I have seen :( he basically just stood there like that and just seemed not super excited to be doing what he was doing. Oh well, he does sing very well though.

gidup4,
not sure you were at the same show I was! He certainly had our part of the crowd in the palm of his hand!
