If it wasn't for evolutionary theory, the data from the Human Genome Project would be incomprehensible to scientists. I also don't get how this is supposed to be an argument against the theory of evolution. It's entirely possible that Hitler was inspired by the term 'survival of the fittest, but that doesn't prove that evolution is incorrect, nor does it even imply it.

The reason Darwin "lives" today has everything to do with his Theory being supported by many lines of intersecting evidence from many disciplines in science. Outside of that, Darwin is irrelevant. What this video does is build a straw man... Wow! All modern biology is now understood in the context of Evolution. There is no other plausible, credible theory that explains what we see in nature. Evolution and Darwin had nothing to do with Hitler's twisted ideological agenda of the "Aryan Man," and certainly if Hitler read Darwin (and there's absolutely no evidence he did), he would have not understood what Darwin was saying.

If it wasn't for evolutionary theory, the data from the Human Genome Project would be incomprehensible to scientists. Scientists would not understand why the genome has such features as pseudogenes that were knocked out by mutation, fused chromosomes, or the like. And yet the data from the HGP will be used to create gene-specific medicenes that will help humanity. Evolution HAS helped humanity.

So there are gaps within Evolution, it's the closest to correct it's like a puzzle with few pieces missing that resembles the Eiffel Tower. The basic ideas of eugenics dates back to before Darwin and has very little to do with his actual work. The ideas of eugenics which Hitler directly prescribed to came from "scholars" in America in the early 20th century. There really is very little connection to the work of Darwin, other than some similar semantics.

Every gene is capable of change. There is nothing to prevent them from doing so, making evolution not only credible but irrepressible. On top of that the genetic similarity between ape and man is about 96%, so it doesn't require that much change to create a new species.

I've read Mein Kampf and all of Hitler's speeches. If you actually bother to read his writings, his main point was never: "We evolved! The fittest species are the ones that produce the most offspring! Lets kill others so that the vaginas of our women will shoot out the most babies!"

Science is about gathering evidence and basing theories on that evidence and establishing a paradigm--sometimes consequent evidence and theories will modify that paradigm because it is rarely perfect. The alternative is a religious belief about the nature of reality based on ancient writings; if we still followed the Bible we'd think the sun moved and would still be speculating about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

OH! Godwin'd by 0:24 man, if I had a pound for every time someone made the jump from Darwin to Hitler, I'd be sunning myself on a tropical island.
Eugenics has its origins in evolution but to try and equate what Hitler was doing to anything approaching eugenics is laughable.
You'd be on much firmer ground saying that Christian fundamentalists murder abortionists because the invisible man in the sky told them to than trying to link evolution and the Holocaust.

What Hitler did was called eugenics. Artificial selection, NOT NATURAL, by man in order to better the human race. This theory was begun by a man named, Francis Galton. Just because some unbalanced, violent teenager says he feels he is using natural selection, doesn't mean Darwin is responsible. First of all, that is not natural selection, or selection of any kind. Natural selection occured and continues to occur, and would wether or not Darwin had explained it.

they evolve a certain way due to heritary traits passed from generational growth from one species to the next, like your father's traits passed onto the son, growing in a cold climate to have a certain skin pigmentation or eye color or already adapted to certain weather due to a generations of growth and evolution in that one environment, they deal with scientific data, Not moral implications or religious implications, just cause it defines our evolution does not discount a divine source.

Whoever can reach the fruit from the tall trees gets to eat it, those who cannot reach it will starve and die off. Those who can impress the opposite sex into breeding will pass on their genealogical traits, those who cannot breed or cannot get anyone to breed with will not pass on their traits, and thus will not contribute to their species' evolution.

For a giraffe to reach a fruit from a tall tree, it needs a strong heart. This strong heart will explode the giraffe's brain once it tries to lower its head to drink. How can evolution explains that a giraffe suddenly evolve with a strong heart muscle and mechanism to prevent its brain from exploding.
Do dead giraffe evolve? No
Do a giraffe which by chance saw its friends collapse while drinking and evovle? No
So, how can evolution explains that?

It would seem that over time, as the giraffe's neck got longer it's heart grew stronger as well in order to pump blood up that long neck. The heart contains different types of valves inside to direct the flow of blood. Giraffes have evolved similar one-way valves in their jugular vein to prevent them from blacking out while drinking. Look it up. Nothing about evolution happens suddenly BTW.

I guess that baby didn't grow into that man. If it did you should be able to find a transitional form.
Think about it and you will realize that every picture is a transitional form just like every fossil is a transitional form, because we are ever changing

If the construct of evolution, as it is posited, were true and indeed had merit, then, we should be up to our eyes in "missing links" being excavated in digs. Even Darwin realized this, and so said, "As by this theory innumerable transitional life forms ("links") must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?.... A field with theories (the construct of evolution) but no evidence is not scientific. "Evolution" is a construct which has yet to advance from the hypothesis stage to being a theory. It is not falsifiable, hence, not even a theory, much less science.
