Please keep in mind that numerous studies show that while prevention certainly aids in promoting a better lifestyle and is a good idea, it does not dramatically lower the overall cost of healthcare, mostly due to the longevity of healthier people. Conversely, there is little discussion about malpractice costs and it is estimated that these can account for 20-25% of all healthcare costs. I am curious why non of the plans are addressing this issue.
